Billie Body Buffer, Pre-shave Body Exfoliator Bar, 3.5 oz

I’ve been using the Billie Body Buffer for a couple of months now, and I am genuinely impressed. I originally bought it because I was looking for a more affordable alternative to a high-end exfoliating bar sold at Sephora that costs around $15 per bar (and is usually only sold in a two-pack for $30 and frequently out of stock). This performs just as well, in my opinion. It provides excellent exfoliation before shaving and leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth. One thing to know: this bar is definitely rough, but that’s exactly the point. If you’re expecting a gentle soap bar, this isn’t it. The texture is designed to exfoliate, and it delivers. I’ve noticed smoother skin, fewer rough patches, and a better shave overall. It also seems to last a long time, making it an even better value. If you’ve been eyeing the expensive version, save your money and try this first. It’s become a staple in my shower routine and I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

I'm a year-round swimmer and shave my legs every other day. I adore every Billie product or shaver I've used, and their exfoliating bar is terrific! When I received my bar I thought it was a tiny bit smaller than I had expected it to be. No problem; the first bar lasted for 6 weeks (I just purchased a second bar). I love the feeling of exfoliating my feet, and my legs prior to shaving them. The suds from the bar work well for shaving and I do believe the exfoliating helps for a smoother shave. Occasionally, I use the bar on my whole body to exfoliate my skin and for the nice feeling of doing so. The ingredients are excellent. I don't recall a scent with this product. Btw, the bar is not drying, at all- in fact, it truly does seem to hydrate my skin. Fun and easy to use, effective, and I say go for it!

This body buffer has become the one thing I absolutely cannot do without in my shower. The combination of the scrubbing texture with the jojoba and castor oil beads is amazing — it leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth, soft, and polished after every use. It does such a great job buffing away rough patches and dead skin while also helping prevent ingrown hairs, especially before shaving. I’ve noticed a huge difference in how much easier and smoother shaving is since I started using this. My skin feels softer, looks healthier, and stays smooth much longer. I also love that it exfoliates without feeling overly harsh or drying. It gives that perfect deep-clean, fresh feeling while still leaving skin moisturized and comfortable. This has officially become a permanent staple in my shower routine. Highly recommend, especially if you struggle with rough skin, razor bumps, or ingrown hairs!

I love it! Made my legs feeling soft! Was able to shave close without getting a cut or leaving red bump!

***edited*** previously I wrote "terrible" and truly felt that. However, I implemented a couple of additional steps to my routine and gave this another try. I feel like it is now a good part of my routine, after using it twice. I use it before I shave, then I use bikini anti-bump shaving gel. I shave in the direction of hair growth. My razor burn has decreased significantly after these steps. I use the bar to gently- keyword is gently to exfoliate my bikini line by going in light, small circles. Then I use the gel mentioned above, letting it sit a couple minutes. Afterwards I use Tree Hut after shave serum. I hope this routine helps someone else! I feel so much better wearing a swimsuit!

This is great for shaving! I use it on my legs, rinse it off, then apply shaving cream. My legs have never been smoother and it has even made my sun spots less noticeable! I have sensitive skin but this soap doesn’t cause any problems or irritation. I will caution against using it on other areas of the body. This exfoliant is very rough and definitely not intended for more delicate skin areas. This is good for legs (and feet, too) but it’s not an all-over exfoliant. But if you want smoother legs, this is what you need!

This exfoliating bar works SO well — super scrubby without being too harsh, doesnt seem to have any scent, and leaves my skin feeling way smoother than it should for something this affordable. Easy to use, lasts a good amount of time, and basically gives spa vibes in a very chaotic bathroom. Love it!

Where has this been all my darn life? As a woman with skin that doesn't seem to shed without serious exfoliation, this bar of soap is a game changer. I use this mostly on my arms and legs. It helps keep the yucky lil bumps away too. Only bad part is the price is a bit spendy. I wish they'd figure out a way to get the cost down. Everything is overpriced right now though. If you have KP or get those lil ingrown hairs, I think this is a must have product.
