Q: Is the on listed as green marble really blue?

The one I have is green marble.

Q: Does this pen post ok or not? some reviews say no. i don't buy pens that won't post.

It posts very nicely. On the inside of the cap, there is a medium hardness ring that seals the pen nib. This does two things... First it provides a good seal so that the ink doesn't dry out. I've had ink last several weeks with the cap on. The second function is that it provides a good grip for posting. This remains my favorite fountain pen.

Q: Is this pen ready to use out of the box or do I need to purchase a cartrige first?
