This box is absolutely perfect to fit my travel sewing kit for my medieval reenactment events. It even came with a little draw string pouch made out of the same velvet that lines the inside of the box.

This is a nice quality box. It was packaged very well. My only complaint is that it is not the color as the one from the Amazon pic. The one in the Amazon pic is a lighter brown and the dark tree stands out real good. The box I received is a real dark brown. It’s so dark brown that the tree hardly even noticed.

Very happy with my purchase! Very nice wood gradient and finish. The inside is nicely lined with soft material and the artwork is very clean. Will be purchasing for several other family members as gifts.

Lovely craftsmanship and wood: corners, hinges, clasp are all aligned and work well. The carving is beautiful, and it's great for keeping a collection of wax stamps. I'd love to see slightly larger sizes, but this is a wonderful storage box and I love it a lot.

Beautiful box. I might buy more. Only complaint would be its a bit tough to open. Might ease with more opening motions.
