Unexciting and predictable but great appeal for seekers of romantic feel-good
I watched this film last week, and I'm struggling to remember what happened - so it left no lasting impression for me. My wife found it relaxing and pleasant.The story-line was predicatable with little drama, so aimed at people not seeking action and suspense.

heavyweights at their best
Utterly absorbing, warm and very intelligent film indeed. Two acting heavyweights, Redford and Phieffer are absolutely sensational. Thoroughly recommend this. It is just slightly slow though. Great Celine Dion tune as well. And heart wrenching if hopeful ending.

The actors are wonderful in it
This film is a classic. The actors are wonderful in it. It's strong, powerful, and it's romantic while never being cheesy. It's a smart movie and a beautiful love story.
