FIRMAN Inverter Portable Generator, 171cc Engine with Electric Start, 3300W Power Generator with Run Time of 9 hours, Whisper Series Generator, 109lbs

When I first pulled it out of the box I put in mid grade gas into it, didn't run very well, always use premium gas. I also live above 7000 ft so that might also play into the fuel issue. I emailed Firman and they sent a high altitude kit free of charge. I have yet to install it as I received it after the season. I will install it when I have time and test it out again. Worked great at 8200 Ft pulling 50 Amps in my RV.

Used it for about 60 hours so far. Performed perfectly. Easy to start.We use it for emergency power outages. Some have been short (8-10 hours), others have been 2 days. Performed just as promised. Ran 2 refrigerators, computers, TV, lights, and coffee maker. Even a small blow-drier.Noise level is acceptable. I'd compare it to a home-sized A/C unit.Only minor complaint - email to support went unanswered. I figured it out anyway, but would have appreciated a response.

Ordered 2 - thought they tied to 220 volt - my bad - should have done my research better there is nobody that has a true duel generator to 220..... but these are nice generators - charge the batteries and they start easy..... only complaint is one of them came with that typical clanking noise in the pull starter case.... not bad just irritating so I kept it. I like the form factor - and plenty of plugs - I do recommend.....

This generator/Invertor came with all kind of problems. Electric starter did work. Choke didn’t function correctly. On a pull start it barely ran at a low rpm. Never hooked it up to anything. I knew it would stall right away. The digital readout didn’t function at all. Had it out of the box for one day. Now it’s in the shop. Can’t say I’d recommend it at this point.

Living at 8300 ft posed a problem for this generator. Firman affirmed that it needed an adjustment to run at our altitude and set us a high altitude fuel jet. My husband was unable to remove the original jet. We ended up paying a small engine repair location to remove and then install the new jet. This will pose a real problem when we decided to pull our trailer to sea level. Not being able to adjust for altitude on the go might cause us to return this generator despite thinking we had chosen the perfect one for our neeeds.

Does everything I need. Runs the 30amp AC in my camper. I really like how it comes with the RV plug. No adapter needed. I was concerned with the size of the fuel tank but it ran for a surprisingly long time on a tank of gas.

I needed a fairly quiet generator to run the a/c on my small horse trailer, got it a day before my weekend ride, it was perfect!! Ran all night, I LOVE IT!!!

Awesome generator. I absolutely love it. Just as described on Amazon. I am very pleased with this generator. I also ordered a cover for this generator, but never received it,and my account has been charged. Not good!!!
