Nice flash, reliable.
Menu can seem a little confusing at first, flash works well. no problems, good range of speeds, a little bulky, battery life is good, picks up signal from remote/sender unit and fires no problem. Just as good and as useful as my Nikon Sb 700.

Love these flashes
I’m a professional wedding photographer and I absolutely love these flashes. The new menu layout for this version is great and makes changing between wireless off, master and slave really easy. The quality is fantastic with my canon r5 - even on Ettl. I mostly shoot 1/16th power bounce flash - either on or off camera. My older versions of these flashes have lasted me up to 5 years shooting around 30 weddings a year. I’ve mostly replaced due to dropping them and only had one fail due to over heating. Let’s hope these last as long!

Your gateway to off camera flash without the huge price tag
I am a Canon 5D mkii user, Yongnuo is the only non canon branded I buy. I have now purchased several Yongnuo bits of kit, like the Ex-568exii and the RF-603c Camera wireless Trigger Transceivers. This is flash means that I don't have to use one of my RF-603c Camera wireless Triggers because it has it build in to the flash. I've been using the flash for 2 weeks now, I regularly use a 3 flash setup and 2 of these are Yongnuo and the other is a canon 430exii.The build quality is very good, and the LCD display is clear and has a good layout. After using this flash I found that it did not fire every time, the canon flash always fires without fail. On the plus side the Yongnuo YN560 IV recycle time is very quick so when it did fire I was able to take another pic again straight away this was at 1/2 power and at full power the recycle time took about 3 seconds. I do plan on replacing my other two Yongnuo flashes which I have with two more of these ones. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase the positives far outweigh the negatives that I've found with this flash. If this was a canon flash I would be more harsh when reviewing it but due to the price of the canons flashes I would expect more.Beware this is a manual flash. Your camera will only tell it to fire, it will not send any evaluative information back to your camera and then automatically make adjustments. If you rely on ETTL or TTL capability (Through the lens) then this is not for you. If you want to learn how to use your flash the old fashioned way and want full control or you're comfortable with manual controls then you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for a cheap way to get in to OCF (off camera flash) photography, you would be able to pick up two of these flashes and a RF-603c Camera wireless Trigger Transceiver for the price of 1 canon flash.

Excellent product - It does what is says and it ...
Excellent product - It does what is says and it is one of the most complete flashes I have ever had, and I had a few because I teach photographyUnless you are making a top-notch product catalogue that requires prime WB stability and so on, this flash is all you needThe disadvantages are only 2 - Is not very compact and resistant (a small fall of 30 cm on a table was enough to send it to repair) so treat it with careful hands / It eats batteries a bit faster than other flashes, so be aware and bring extra or use several rechargeable packsBut overall, and because of it's price, this flash is 5 stars - I already handled previous and newer Yongnuo models and I find this one having the most intuitive and practical menusGo for it - Buy 2 or 3 of them instead of only 1 camera branded, be very well served and still saving some cash

I required these flash units urgently for a photo shoot and was very pleased with 3C4U for their good service and getting them to me on the day promised. I have purchased Yongnuo products before and always found them excellent value for money, the TN600EX-RT Wireless Flash is no exception. I also have the Canon Speedlite equivalent and apart from different coloured led indicators for Link and Flash Ready they are identical to the Canon in every other way, including the menus. Apart from using it as the main flash they are also ideal if you need more light as they are easy to set-up as remote wireless (RT) slaves without breaking the bank in the process.

Save money and don't buy Canon
I have just started a class on Portrait photography and the tutor is using Canon Speedlight's and canon trigger. I could not afford to get them so I bought 3 of these with the equivalent trigger. They are identical to the latest canon flashes. The tutor was astounded by the quality and price and has since purchased a similar set-up to myself to set up a 2nd studio areas in our training facility. I cannot recommend them enough, they are every bit as good as the latest canon ones and I know this because I have pictures from both sets and there is no difference whatsoever.

Yongnuo make great flash units this is my 2nd (My first YN560)
Yongnuo make great flash units this is my 2nd (My first YN560). I am waiting to get a few more as I want a more portable in the field lighting option and have used this along with my Elinchrom studio strobes as commander and had no issues. Using good rechargeable batteries and the cycle time is not to bad either. For me as an amateur the option of spending the extra for the Nikon equivalent makes no sense and from what I am reading also you could have a full lighting setup with these at the price of 1 Nikon.....

ONLY LASTED 5 MONTHS FOR EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY
I bought this flash in September 2016 and had it for 5 months so far. Recently I was taking pictures at an event and all of a sudden the "hot" signal came on, meaning the flash had over heated. I let the flash cool down for a couple hours, but when I tried to use it again it still said "hot". The following day I had another event to cover and the flash still showed the "hot" signal after 24 hours to cool down, leaving me without a flash for that particular event. I'm not sure if I should get another one, while I send this one back on warranty or spend extra money on a Nikon speed light (as I'd rather not worry about my equipment overheating). Like I said it was doing a great job up until it decided to overheat and eventually stop working. This flash is probably best for light, slow pace photography or as a backup and not as a main flash for high speed event photography.

Great flash, unintuitive to set up
Flash works great, but the flash's menus and setting it up seem overly complicated and unintuitive

Initial impression - impressive
I've purchased this flash recently and as soon as I had one in my hands, I decided to use it for my first assignment - photography for a new year party! I must say the initial impression is impressive. The reason I state behind this is, I haven't used much external flash of late. Earlier, in the days of manual photography, I had used a Vivitar flash, but now, I haven't used one since I got digicams & DSLR. With two minds, I opted for this product. I must say the lighting and throughput are quite good in addition to battery life. Initially I used 4 rechargeable batteries and they lasted for nearly 500 clicks. Subsequently, as the response time increased, I had changed the batteries. Hence, I would give a 5 on 5 for battery performance. Another impressive feature is TTL. If you plan to use it in automatic mode, it works extremely well with automatic synchronizing. If you are a rookie or a small time professional photographer, I would suggest this flash. The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is, in some corner of my cranial cavity, I still feel Nikon flashes are far better than the make shift ones.
