Who The Fuck Are Arctic Monkeys Ep

My son and I have a running joke about this band so when I saw that this was affordable I got it for Xmas. Now it's in a frame on his wall.

One of my absolute favourites from artic monkeys ! And the quality is really good as well

Very good album every tracks a good one. Although sayin that theres only somthing like 5 songs on the album. But there all good. So if you like rock or soft rock then give it a buzz. I enjoy it as its abit more of a unique sound to other general bands. But yeaa a good album, only problem is that there are only 5 songs.

With just 5 songs (one of which is the opening track for their debut album anyway) it may be hard to see why this EP is selling for the price of a full album. Well it was the bands first ever release so isnt exactly littering the shelves of your local record shop. But the 5 tracks are all within the Arctic Monkeys best.The aggression of A View From The Afternoon bleeds into Cigarette Smoker Fiona flawlessly but is then cut short by the gut wrenching ballad, Despair In The Departure Lounge. No Buses is arguably the best on this 10" collection but the title track is what really sets it apart. Each song gives the band a chance to shine with A View From The Afternoon being drummer Matt Helders territory in the vain of Brianstorm and Pretty Visitors. Jamie Cook takes over in the second track and although Andy Nicholson isn't the current bassist he does shine here.Yes Alex Turner sings like he has a blocked nose in places but if you can see the slight imperfections as what they are - trademarks of one of the best British bands to grace the 21st Century - then you can also see why this EP beats Suck It And See, AM (and definitely Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino) in the bands discography.

Such a good EP to have if you like collecting Arctic Monkeys stuff - if you're not into AM, though, this is still an excellent CD for a handful of music.
