It is pressed sawdust but seems to be decent enough made. I don’t count on it holding up for a really long time but it will work for what I need now

This is a coffee Table with a large storage area under a dinning table top that pulls up and goes down with hydraulic arms. The "wood" is a type of MDF and any over tightening with a screw will result in a blown out area so do yourself a favor and glue every single screw. There is no work around for the wheels being not suited for carpet but I have been in contact with the seller and they seem to want to fix the issue plus it comes with feet you can screw in that work just fine or replace them with something different. What I am left with looks real nice and works as intended. After adding the aftermarket wheels and glue this is a great and versatile coffee table.

This really isn't bad for the price... $70 or $80, and I figure it will last a year to 3 years. We had 2 pieces of wood split when we were putting it together, but it doesn't matter when you have some fast drying wood glue. As for the videos that show the top dropping off centered, just be sure to follow the directions and even try it out before screwing all the screws in. I also had better luck attaching the hinges to the frame before the lid and using a skinny screwdriver to screw in the lid. ONE MAJOR FLAW: The wheel locking mechanism will scrape the floor or catch on a carpet when it is not locked. I took a picture of it. I just took a pair of vice grips and bent up the ends so they weren't scraping the floor. But this is almost a deal-breaker. We just renovated our house, and thank God I caught it before we had big gouges in our new floors. If I couldn't rig this up, I would have sent this back right away. Again, not bad it you were to use the feet. It's not that hard to put together... About 45 min. Solid 4 star for the price.

It took a while to assemble. The instructions were not as clear and I thought I saw a video on how to assemble this so I went to the product information on Amazon and found a video. But when I played the video, it was not the right table. I don't know if it's the way it was assembled but when the top is lifted and you put it back down, the movement is not smooth and it sometimes will abruptly fall on the table. All in all, it's great! Just what I needed. I opted to put on the wheels instead so it's easy to roll into position.

First let's be clear, this is not an expensive item. it is not real wood. You can't get a real wood table for $100. It is the particle board veneered style. But it does look nice. Not everyone can afford top quality furniture, I cant! It took a while to put together, couple of hours. Hubby and I were watching football games in background, not hurrying. There are a lot of screws, and other hardware. It is labeled nicely though. Letters A thru K in plastic bags. The panel parts are labeled with number stickers also. I think the instructions are incorrect on putting the top on but we corrected. It scratches EASILY, the paper veneer get faded with the slightest movement so be careful when assembling.

Bought this a year ago and still holding strong. Love that it is a lift top when I need it. Perfect height for my couch and the wheels help me move it so I can clean under. Also my shark robot fits under perfectly as well! Nice quality and easy enough to assemble as a girl solo.

If you assembled a Kia furniture, then nothing about this bill should come as a surprise. If you wanna lift the top with one hand, you better pull it from the middle otherwise it’s pretty wonky coming out sturdy enough once it’s fully opened or closed. It looks really nice. Wheels are small and work fine on hard flooring but not so much on carpet or rugs. The wheel lock lever catches and kind of digs into the fibers. I also have one wheel that doesn't rotate as well as the others, somethings up with the ball bearings. It drags. My wife loves the way it looks though. Very useful furniture.

As pointed out in other reviews (which I wish I had heeded before assembly), the E and F parts in Step 15 for the top part need to be swapped from what the instructions state. Aggravating to have to disassemble and reassemble the top but, once I got it right, the table looks pretty nice for the money. As also stated in other reviews, the wheels locking mechanism is too low and scrapes against the floor. I'm on a carpet so it gets buy but this will scratch a wood floor so either use the included non-wheel bottoms or bend the wheel locks up above the wheel. I will look for better replacement wheels at some point. With those caveats aside, I'm happy with the table as it has plenty of storage without taking up too much space and I like the rustic brown color. The versatility of the opening top with storage underneath is the main reason why I bought this and I like it.
