The clever draining lid makes this the best "office-friendly" noodle cup
1. The "Out of the Box" Experience The first thing that stands out is the high-quality lid. Unlike standard noodle pots where you peel back a flimsy foil, this has a secondary plastic cap with built-in drainage holes. Inside, you get the noodle block, a vegetable mix (mostly cabbage), and a separate liquid seasoning sachet. 2. Real-World Use (Texture & Preparation) The preparation is slightly different from a standard "soup" noodle. You fill it with boiling water, let it sit for 3 minutes, and then—crucially—drain the water through the lid before adding the sauce. This creates a "Wok Style" dry noodle rather than a broth. The noodles are wheat-based and have a much better chew (al dente) than cheaper, foam-potted alternatives. 3. The Pros and Cons • Pro: Authentic Flavor. The Classic sauce is a rich, savory yakisoba style (soy-based with a hint of sweetness) that actually tastes like it was stir-fried. • Pro: No-Mess Draining. The lid design is brilliant; it lets the water out without losing any of the noodles or vegetables. • Con: Small Portion. While it's a great snack or light lunch, it might not be enough for a main dinner without adding your own protein like chicken or tofu. • Con: Short Noodles. The noodles are cut relatively short, likely to make them easier to eat with a fork, which might disappoint those who like to "slurp" longer ramen. 4. Who is this for? This is the ultimate desk lunch for anyone who wants something higher quality than a basic pot noodle. It’s for the person who appreciates a savory, sauce-based noodle rather than a salty soup. Verdict: 5/5. The design of the pot alone makes it worth the slightly higher price point. It’s convenient, consistent, and genuinely delicious.

Noodles!
Been a fan of these for a long time, so was happy to find I can buy them in bulk. They don't taste spicy so if you're looking for that then get the red labeled packs. Goes well with chicken, but might also work well with beef. Definitely recommend but your enjoyment will depend on personal tastes.

Doesn't taste the same as soba pot noodles
I bought in bulk thinking this was cheap. However, boiling the noodles in pan is not the same as adding boiling water to the pot. So somehow I feel the pot version of this is better tasting even though it costs more money.
