Womens Original 874® Work Pants

I purchased the 6short. I am a size 2 but recently gained weight in the midsection so I'm probably more of a size 4. But I still fit in my regular size 2 with some muffin tops. Mom's bod here. The 6 fits perfectly loose. I like how the 6 looks on me: Wide leg. I like that the hip area isn't tight like 70s style pants. I am 5'2. The 6short is 1 inch too long but that is expected; the length is proportioned to the size. Even at a size 2, I would go with a 4 because these have no stretch (being Dickies).

Perfect work pant. I’m short 4’11” and the short length worked great for me. Dickies are the ultimate work pant, the fit is definitely old school higher rise but that was what I wanted.

I am 5’3” and around 135lb with an hourglass figure, mostly wider hips and a big ass. I needed black slacks for a new service job and after reading many reviews about sizing, I opted to originally buy a 2short and a 4short, as most complaints were in the fit at the natural waist being super large. I got the 4short first and I could barely, BARELY get them up over my bum. They fit in the natural waist, but the crotch seam was so tight I could barely stand to have them on for a second longer. The length in the leg was pretty perfect, though. I did eventually buy a size 6short, which I can slide on comfortably and the crotch seam fits appropriately. The length of the pant leg is almost too long, and , there is a decent amount of gapping at the natural waist. I’m going to get a belt and have them hemmed slightly. If you are a petite woman with a little extra curve I would purchase true to size of what you’d normally buy at the store to start, and order a backup pair as well.

The worst pants I have ever bought. Too baggy. This runs small so size up. Im a 12 and couldn't fit into it. Not meant for curvy body types

I like it material and color and not too tight and not too big but if I dare say hope they can make more shorter the size of “short.”I still have to cut a little bit and sewing;)

Reference: 5’8 127 lbs Typically a size 2 or small in pants They get three stars because they’re great quality pants and they are long which may be an issue for shorter women, but for women who are tall and have long legs like myself, it’s a perfect length. Subtracted two stars because of the waist being too big. I bought a size 2 which is my normal size but it fit more like a size 4 which was annoying, especially since I can’t trade it out for a smaller size.

so I ordered a 2 based on someone who is the same size as me. 5.5 120 lbs. didn't fit at all. to small in the waist. I think I'm going to try a 6 short & see what happens. they're really stiff too. I think I will call them rugged. we Are talking about dickies so I guess I wouldn't expect any thing else. nice pockets for a change. women's pants jeans slacks always have the ridiculously small front pockets. can't put anything in them cuz it falls out. I need nice kinda "mans" pockets. I think these are for me, just gotta find the right size. I gave it a 5 cuz the pants are good, just got the wrong size and that has nothing to do with quality.

I don’t understand why people are saying the sizing is off.. these fit me perfectly. I will only alter the length but that’s nothing serious. If you’re Latina you know these are classic street wear. I love them and find them flattering, the back side gives nice shape. The front is a little bulky but it’ll do. I’m 5”2 and 114 got a size 2 and 4. They both fit me great but i like the 4 better. The material is also comfortable to me and they seem to match with everything. I can’t wait to wear mine. I need more colors now.
