I bought this especially for my wedding day and after having almost bought the Fridja, I decided to pay £10 more for a product that had excellent reviews. W3ell, what can I say - we absolutely did the right thing! Transporting it to the hotel was a breeze, assembly is simple (once I figured out to turn the telescopic pole to tighten and not the plastic cup on the handle) and it was ready to use in under a minute. The result was stunning - both suits looked perfect - even fine wrinkle free - I love that we could also do a faux-fur coat by changing the setting. |Definitely worth the money and construction is excellent.

I've bought this Garment Steamer a few weeks ago. In terms of delivery, it was prompt and quick (Delivery Rating:5). Also, the steamer arrived in an excellent condition, i.e. no visible scratchers at all. The Steamer is very easily and intuitive to assemble, which can be done in a few minutes time (but in case they also provide a clear instruction).Speaking of its functionality, as advertised, the Steamer indeed takes very short time to start working since switching it on (but make sure you always have the water container filled with water). From my experience, the Steamer does a good job when it is used with T-shirts and underwear (Rating: 5) However, using it with the actual shirts can be tricky and less convenient as I found that it doesn't rid of all creases in all places, unless you spend excessive time per shirt (Rating:3). Haven't tried it with trousers yet, so can't comment on that. An additional good point is that the steamer has different modes: for wool; silk etc. So I found this useful as it ensures that the steamer will not ruin delicate cloths.But in conclusion, it's a good and convenient product, especially for t-shirts and underwear, but is less effective and convenient for shirts.

Whilst it is very effective the extending poles are a real pain to ensure they stay up - so once up it means that I am loathed to collapse them for storage. I purchased hoping this would have me do away with my iron, but it seems to take longer from this design issue. The steam generation is great and the results are excellent. Shame a little more wasn't spend on the mechanical element as it would then be perfect

just to let you know while you considering to buy this magic pet, first I was crying as it did not work on the way I expected from the reviews. I did read so many different descriptions of others and so of this, they were saying "abracadabra" it does the job. It did not until I discovered it's tiny secrets which were not quite obvious from the reviews.! I had to slow down my energetic ironing habit :) and temporally prepare a stall which protects the skirt whatsoever from behind. It is my ironing stall, closed, standing so holding the hanger or linen or what you what to do. So flapping excluded, next the hot steam which ,of course, burnt my hand first. But you must let the steaming head to run smoothly on the surface and hold the textile in a safe distance, no need to pull, just hold! It keeps you safe and does the job brilliantly.I have to do a lots of ironing and started to hate it with whatever modern steaming iron i had. Now I'm doing again with joy, doing again the the T shirts, bed cloths etc and it took only 30 minutes to finish 16 skirt, 7 T shirts, 3 bed lines with one tank of water. We put it together. Simple. But then I took the nozzle in my hand as though I were going to steam a garment. The tubing is so INCREDIBLY stiff and rigid that I would only be able to use it at an absolute right angle to the garment and would never be able to swivel the nozzle and tubing hose up under the garment to steam from the inside as I usually do. I am sorry to say that we had to pack it back up and send it packing. I honestly do not know how anyone could use it. I am a strong woman and it was truly an impossibility for me.

I have waited before writing a review as I wanted to have used this item for a time to really have a good sense of it before judgement. Not only am I less than pleased with the results. The garments do not look crisp and crease free as they do with an iron but also the height adjust pole does not stay in place. I have had a lot of trouble with this, including it falling onto my finger and cutting it quite badly, leaving behind a large blood blister that has now turned into a scar. It also falls down when you are steaming garments thus making it very difficult to continue. The metal pole is in two parts which have to be twisted together and have black plastic fixings. Most unsatisfactory as it is a constant battle. It simply does not stay at the height you want. It is also advised to use in a room with opened windows as it produces a lot of steam in the room. Cuffs and collars are almost impossible to do as you can burn your hands trying to steam these.If I could have used this before buying I would have stuck to an iron and ironing board. Not a fantastic product and I say this with massive regret. I do not usually feel so negatively about something I buy.

This is my second BestSteam. Was using the previous one for two years and was so happy with the purchase until my hose broke. My average use was few times a week. And I must say when was looking for replacement I was so confused witch one to go for and I hope I made the right decision. Let’s see how long this will last. I have noticed few changes between my old one and the new. They add clips on the pole so is much easy to extend the length of the pole, adapter as a extra bonus in the box (if you planing to use abroad). I must say, life is so much easy with this steamer, perfect for t-shirts, shirts, dresses. Perfect for refreshing your clothes if they been in you wardrop for some time.
