This is a very nice set. Bought it for my wife for christmas, and she uses it all the time now. The pen tips are cool, just dip into the ink for a second, and write. Easy to wipe off when done. The only tricky part is the wax for the seals. You have to burn the selected colored candle's wax into the spoon, which you have to keep heated by the provided tea candle, which you then drip onto the paper and use the seal stamp. Be careful, the spoon handle gets hot. Excellent quality set, great potter fan gift. Make sure theyre old enough to handle candles, ink, and such responsibly

this is a beautiful pen kit! it came gorgeously packaged and very easy to use! this will be a great motivator for writing.

Very good quality product but I have not had any experience with calligraphy so I would not recommend it for beginners but other than that it is very pretty and would make a great gift for Christmas or birthday.

This is an outstanding calligraphy set. I was well pleased with the quality and price.

I have a Hogwarts/Harry Potter themed desk, and this was definitely a nice addition to it. Would highly recommend it. If you are going to use it to constantly right with, you will need to get some more ink. The bottle that comes with it is very tiny, but other than that this is a great starter kit.

Bought this for my grown daughter. Great if you want a usual gift. This was one of her favorite gifts.

I purchased this quill set for my son's 11th birthday. He is a huge Harry Potter Fan and I thought it was a cute novelty. I had no expectations of him using it regularly, however he loves it so much he has used it every day since his birthday. He hates writing activities, and I have struggled to get him to practice writing and spelling (we homeschool)- however since receiving this set he has started keeping a journal that was completely his idea. He said writing is so much more fun with a quill. Who would have thought that was all it would take?? It is a gorgeous set, the pieces are high quality, and everything works very well. Big win!
