This 9QT electric chafing dish kept the food warm for a long time, and it worked great at our wedding event. The heat adjustment was easy to use. Its large capacity made serving many guests simple. The build quality is solid and it’s easy to clean. Overall, it’s a very useful product for events and gatherings.

This is a great food warmer. Keeps food as warm as you want it. Easy to use! Put hot water in water pan and turn warmer on. The control readout is in Celsius, so just print a Small conversion chart if you want to. Put warm food in pans, close lid and you are set. This is a warmer, not a cooker! It is intended to keep food warm, and it does! Works great. Easy to clean and store. Roll top lid is solidly made. Sets on top of pans. Lid will slide a bit if opened briskly by a starving brute. It’s a warmer, not a vending machine.

I have used this for a few times now to keep curries and patties warm. You need to make sure the food is already heated and then transfer it to this and select the warm temperature. It kept food warm for 3 hours plus, because it had two dish it was versatile. It seems very safe to run for long hours as needed. I would give 5 stars for the performance and effectiveness. Very useful if you host functions and need food kept warm. Also saves time to keep heating the food in oven. The cover itself is transparent which I like.

I bought this because we were going to be having several parties and wanted to be able to serve food (and keep it hot) more easily. It worked very well! The temperature is adjustable (and yes the # shows only Celsius but I just converted to know the goal temperature and it was fine), food stayed hot, and people could see what was in there due to the clear plastic cover. I also liked that the bins and overall item is stainless steel. For one party we served food from a restaurant at home. For the other we cooked at home and brought the food in the removeable bins and set it up when we got to our destination. In both cases everything worked as planned. I am looking forward to using it again for the holidays. I was encouraged by Amazon to write an "honest review" which is what this is.

Does not really use the steam well, I think because the plastic top is cheap and thin. The dial says “No” instead of “on”… cheap quality, can’t see temperature.

I like these chafing dishes because they look professional and have good quality metal. Not too heavy or lightweight. They were easy to use and clean. They keep food at the perfect temperatures without fail. Heat up quickly and the digital readout makes things easier for maintaining your ideal temperature. The tops were challenging because some were a little heavy-handed and it would often slip off when opening to get food. I would prefer a top that’s not so round, because you can only pile up food in the dishes to a certain point anyway, and it just seems like a lot of wasted space. I do like having the rotating lid, I just it snapped on and stayed in place better.

We host a lot of get togethers and food ends up being spread through our whole kitchen. I purchased 2 of these and was able to keep all the food in a neat space. The hot food stayed hot all day. I filled the bottom of one tray with ice water to keep our salads cold and it worked perfectly. I am considering purchasing 1 more to completely meet our needs. They were easy to use, kept the food the right temperature, easy to clean and kept the flies out. They held enough food for 45 people without the need for replenishing.

I was a little disappointed in the lid of the warmer. It’s a little hard to function with using it after getting it. I realize that it probably would’ve been better to have interventional lids for each compartment. The depth of the pans was not quite what I was looking for. I wanted something a little bit deeper. It’s OK, but I'm just not 100% satisfied. It keeps the food warm, but you need to turn it on at least an hour before you’re ready to put your food in so that it will be hot. I wish the lid were separated for each tray.
