Lovely, good quality, warm - very happy.
I've had this (single) for a month now. I bought the all-season combination as had needed a blanket with my previous synthetic duvet. After a week, I had to take off the thinner duvet as was far too warm. The thicker of the 2 has been perfect for the bedroom's 10-15ºC temperature. Nice weight - not heavy, but enough to feel there is something on you. The thinner duvet rolls up very small for easy cupboard/drawer storage. Feathers are evenly distributed and only takes a very quick shake to plump them up again in the morning. Slight noise, but to be expected of feathers. Can't feel the individual feathers and none escaping as yet. Very happy and sleeping so much better! (The only negative... I was hoping for the nice bag with handles for storage, as in the picture, but it came in a plastic bag instead. Certainly not a dealbreaker though.)

A top quality feather duvet - plump filling with quality clean-washed goose feathers and down, with no sharp quills
This is a very good quality feather quilt, at a very reasonable price. Delivery was almost next day, for standard delivery. Ordered it late one evening and it arrived two mornings after. I have had many feather duvets over the years, and none have been better quality than this. I had a 15 tog synthetic-five duvet on my bed before this, for the past year, which was pleasantly warm (but I usually needed a bedspread over it in very cold weather), and as I was in my bed when the new duvet came, I was able to experience the immediate difference when I put the 13.5 tog feather replacement on. It was actually much warmer, even though it was a lower tog! (I couldn't find a 15 tog feather duvet.) It is perfect. I think it was £35 plus a fiver delivery charge (single sized Homescapes duvet). You will not get as good a quality duvet for less than this online. I have also purchased before the ultra-cheap duvets at somewhere around the Twenty Pounds mark - there are a couple of companies offering these. Don't bother! Despite what they say in their product descriptions, the fillings in these cheaper ones are scanty, they feel colder than the duvet I was replacing, and you could also see light through some gappy parts. They're not worth the price, however cheaply attractive they are. If you want a good quality feather duvet, buy a Homescapes one! The stiching is neat and sturdy, and each boxed section is equally plump with feather filling. There is no odour. The feathers have been CLEANED (not the case in the cheaper competitors' products, which are of low quality to match the price (you don't get something for nothing...). They are small sized feathers, there are no sharp quill feather stalks to make up the bulk, no sharp sticky-out bits. Again, this is not the case with the twenty-pounds variety, which in my opiniion are not wor.th buying because their quality is so poor. No point paying ANYTHING for a substandard product. I know because I have done so myself before, at least once, perhaps twice. The Homescapes price is still very reasonable at £35 plus postage. If you want to know what a warm, good quality feather duvet should feel like, I recommend that you opt for this one.

Comfortable, super warm, feels great.
I've continued to persevere with 13.5 tog hollow fibre duvets for the cooler months and got fed up of how sweaty they can make you feel at times regardless of the quality of the duvet cover. Finally decided it was time for a decent Goose feather and down duvet again and I seriously wish I'd changed back to one much sooner. Extremely well finished with decent sized box baffles to keep the filling evenly spread out and stop it all bunching up on one end or side of the duvet. There's plenty of filling evenly spread across each section and the feathers and down have been cleaned and treated for hygiene too. No nasty odours and they're definitely filled with the smaller soft warm down and under feathers, no larger feathers with thicker shafts that can constantly jab you or pierce the outer shell. (I certainly can't say the same for cheaper feather/down duvets I've had in the past which ended up being a complete waste of money and resulted in me choosing hollow fibre instead which came with its own downsides too. Better to spend a little extra on a quality duvet like these Homescapes that can even be machine washed at home. Look after your duvet and they do last well too.) I closely looked over the entire duvet when I received it and I couldn't find any tatty ends or bad stitching at all, they're very well made indeed and the outer shell is also very good quality. Nowhere near as bulky or heavy as the 13.5 tog hollow fibre duvet it replaced but it's certainly just as warm and it's a whole lot more comfortable too. Like others, my only minor criticism is the exterior shell of the duvet is made of a fabric that rustles a lot when it's being moved about or when you move underneath it but I'd rather have the quality anti dust mite shell than go without with a feather duvet for hygiene, etc. It should improve with time as the duvet sees more use and it's not a huge issue, more of an observation than a criticism to be fair. Otherwise, I can't fault this product at all. For their price they're just great. (Give a new duvet a jolly good shake a couple of times a day for a week or two to plump it up and really get the air back into after it's been tightly packed into the storage bag for best results, after that a quick shake once a day and they really are toasty warm.) Duvet is supplied in a thin carry/storage bag with a zip. Full instructions for care and washing are included. 5/5. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

'Great Bargain But Very Clingy'
To anyone wanting to pick up a real bargain and end up with an ultra -soft, well made and comfy duvet I would say look no further but there are a couple of things I would say about this item. The first is that the duvet is so soft and therefore limp that it has a habit of moulding itself around you quite snuggly. This of course is great for keeping you warm but if you are a 'hot person' like me you might find the way that the duvet clings to your body a bit too much especially on a warm night. The second thing is that this duvet is not overly big for a biggish person (I'm 16 and a half stone and 5 feet 11 inches) and so you might do better to think about buying a 'King Size' duvet. I myself already had a King size but had forgotten that when buying this and so have noticed the reduction. A King Size definitely allows more of the duvet to drape down the sides of a single bed and in the case of this particular duvet might even have helped with the 'clingy' problem mentioned earlier. Anyway, no intention of being a 'party pooper' regarding this item - it really is a bargain - but I just want to ensure that you are all aware of the pro's and cons BEFORE you purchase it.

Perfect all the year round
After having been most pleased with the 15 TOG Duvet I purchased from Homescapes last Oct. I realised as the weather changed seasons towards the warmer months that my snug-as a bug in a rug- duvet may actually be a little too warm for the summer. Initially I was just going to purchase a lower tog quilt, but was somewhat surprised to find the price difference between a pure summer duvet and this one (which can be used across all 3 seasons) was negligible. So what do you get for your money? Two separate duvets which arrive in their own little plastic carrying case. Which I suppose could be used to store the spare duvet when not in use. The edge of the quilt is double stitched not in the usually way but instead 2 rows about a cm apart which forms a taper where you find the plastic snap fasteners which are used to affix the two duvets together. (I purchased a single duvet of the same category years ago from a prestigious bedding company and it used Velcro patches, which had a habit of coming undone). The fill of the pockets is very generous and unlike other duvets isn't bulky or heavy. The material used is the same as used in their 15 tog quilt and in over 8 months of use I have yet to see any feathers poking through that one so hopefully the same can be said for this one. Well this past weekend has just seen the mercury rise and I got to use the duvet for what it was purchased for. Previously I've slept under just a sheet during the hotter parts of the summer. But for some strange reason I've always felt a little naked doing so. Well no problems with inhibitions came to the fore and I actually managed to enjoy a better nights sleep than the poor cat did, who due to his built in fur court was up most of the night licking himself in which to try and keep cool. Conclusions A quality Goose feather and down duvet which is just as well constructed as its more expensive rivals but comes in a lot cheaper.

Super
Now I read the reviews on a lot of feather quilts before deciding to buy this one and I'm not disappointed. 85% feather 15% down it's nice n warm n "hugs" u whilst u sleep. One of the things it asks u to star rate on this review is lightweight n I've started it 4 out of 5 for that because it us heavier than my last hollow fibre one but I love a weighty quilt, maybe that question ought to b changed to just weight as if that was the case it'd get 5 stars cus I think the weight is perfect, obviously everyone's preferences are different. I also read in previous reviews that there was a strong smell from the quilt, absolutely no bad smell from this one & I shuved my nose right in for a sniff. I also read on previous reviews that the 4.5 section of the quilt is not casetted (I've brought the all seasons one where you can have a 4.5tog summer one, 9tog autumn/spring one or put them both together for a 13.5 tog winter one) the one I've received has cassetting on both the sections of the quilt. This was the cheapest I could find price wise for the 15% down. I'm very pleased with it, I would, and will, recommend it to people.

Fit for a king - A Super king
My first review! I've been an Amazon customer for a few years now, this is the first time I have ever decided to write a review because of just how brilliant the item I purchased turned out to be! I will say; I know nothing about bedding or the materials used. I had bought a new super king size bed and mattress and wanted a nice duvet to go with, so I quickly searched on here and this one had really good (if not the best) reviews. The duvet turned up promptly and when it arrived I took it out of the packaging and lay it on my bed, I did not know you are supposed to let it settle and take shape for a few hours before use. I jumped in bed and used it within an hour or two of taking it out of the packaging and well... It was the most comfortable duvet I have ever come in contact with in my life! Seems a tad over the top, but I assure you it is a brilliant item and well worth the money! Also to my surprise - I realised (after sleeping in it and reading the packaging the next day) that the duvet contains goose feathers and down, which are said to be the best type of feathers/down quality that you can get! I am over the moon with my purchase and can not recommend it enough, as for the "Tog" rating - I also did not have a clue what that meant. Turns out 13.5 is one of the highest tog ratings and are duvets better suited for colder months or if you have a cold bed/room. I slept in good warmth, I opened my window before I went to sleep to see how cold I would get under the duvet. When I woke, the only part of me that felt any chill were my shoulders and neck - I looked at my phone to see that the temperature was 0°C! The rest of me was completely toasty. In conclusion; very soft, very warm and a great quality of stitching and texture. 5/5 From me
