There are two buttons on the Bluetooth controller. a round button and a rectangular bar. I figured out that the round one is the shutter button, but couldn't understand what the rectangular one was for. It just had a black arrow in the plastic above it. Eventually it became clear that it's just another shutter button. Don't know why they decided it needs two.

I got the pink one with the light and it definitely surprised me it is small so can fit in a purse but also tall once you pull it out and for the price can’t beat that!

I miss the days of battery-less controls, but that's where phone makers have pushed us. I paired it for her iPhone 12 Pro and she was able to use it for our whole trip without me helping.Things of note:When you turn on the remote, it takes about 60 seconds to automatically pair. You can easily think it's not going to work, but it connected. Every Time.To save putting the phone in the cradle every time, my wife left it in and folded the arm onto itself, as designed. Unfortunately, the articulating joint pushes into the screen, which could crack your screen if not careful.Lastly, if you have a pop socket (like her) or something mounted to the back of the phone/case, it hinders the mounting of the phone into the holder. Her phone was not completely seated, but it never fell out. It was awkward but not dangerously hanging out.

My husband loves his phone stuff.
