As soon as these arrived, I ate two packages they were so good! I REALLY miss sour candy while on a keto diet and these are a PERFECT substitute if it’s the sour taste you’re after. They smell like any other candy type smell. In my picture you can see the texture. The Smart Sweets to me are too firm, these are perfect. They are firm but a tiny bit gooey, instead of Smart Sweets that are firm rubbery. Warning: they have sugar alcohol so it was a terrible mistake to eat two at once. It cleared my whole system within 30 minutes. Other than that, if you eat only one package at a time, there’s no GI issues.

I have no complaints about the flavor. But I do have a WARNING: if you’re sensitive to artificial sweeteners at all, do not eat more than one bag. Eating up to three in one sitting will have you crying for your mama, more bloated than a prized pumpkin at a pumpkin championship weigh-off. Your stomach will feel like it’s about to burst, and not in the “I drank too much water!!” way, in the “dear God please don’t let this be how I die” way. You feel me? Well, if you want a fun sour-y alternative to traditional laxatives, couple bags of these will do the trick! Never. Again. Edit: One bag is the max serving for an entire day. Sometimes, we learn things the hard way.

These are pretty good but they are not as bright and vibrant as the packaging. They are also not that sour either, not like a gummy Skittles which I was hoping for haha.. But still a great substitute when you need a healthier option to regular candy. Would buy again.

I highly recommend avoiding these snacks as buying them was a huge mistake for me. Im on keto and was craving some sour gummis (rip van makes awesome normal keto gummy bears) so decided to give these a try. They are quite expensive at almost $2 per tiny bag, but i figured theyd be worth it. I was very wrong. Biggest issue is that these do NOT have the texture or consistency of gummi bears. Its more of that swedish fish texture that gets stuck to your teeth. So if you arent a fan of that (like me), you will hate these. Secondly, the flavor is good at first but, like with most sugar alcohols, theres a strong after taste that hits you. I wasnt even done with the bag before the taste became gross and fake. I purchased this along with another flavor from this brand and both had these issues. Since you cant return food items, we basically wasted $50. Save yourself the frustration and go with a better brand like Rip Van or Smart Sweets. Theyre more affordable too

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The company that figures out how to make a sour gummy bears that has a very low glycemic load will have a license to print money. Unfortunately, Kiss My Keto has not cracked it with these sour bears. As gummy bears, they are just kind of fine. They are not as chewy as I would prefer but they no one expects an exact match to the H brand’s gold standard gummy candy. The flavors are just fine, nothing to write home about, but ok. That's all you can really say about it though. Where these fall flat is in the sour sand. I have a guess that they have gone easy on the citric acid because of a concern that it might contribute to blood sugar going up more than would be expected from something with this much fiber sweetened primarily with sugar alcohols but not fully sugar free. If that's the problem then they really should not have bothered. These are just not acidic enough to register as sour. Instead the sour flavor is more like fruit that isn't really ripe yet. A bit bland, a little it tart, but not the kind of pleasant sour you want from sour candy. Now, I readily admint Im a bit of an acid extremist. My kitchen is full of vinegars, citrus juices and tubs of malic citric and tartaric acids in food grade powders. When I splurge on sugars, I go for the sour you can only get from sour candies most people find inedible. So when I buy a sour candy, I want something that will make my mouth water an my lips pucker involuntarily. Still, I was not expecting that with this. i was hoping for something at the level of a now n later or sour punch straws, but id have been happy with sour patch kids or green apple jolly rancher levels of sour. These dont come close, and they are too much money for something that’s merely edible but misses the mark of the product description so much. 3 stars because if i just wanted a gummy, I think id be happy with this. But it isnt sour enough to put that word on the bag, so its a bit of a rip off for a merely ok gummy bear.

I was not expecting these to be that good - because well... they're Keto so sometimes that can mean "not tasty" - I will be buying more of these in more flavors. I bought the sour bears because I like tart type candies or treats. These are perfect and the ingredient list is not scary - I was expecting to see a list of chemicals but these are really well made. A wonderful discovery for whenever I crave a treat and I don't have to feel guilty about it. Love these!
