Our beautiful security front door was so secure we couldn't even get out of the house lol. Both my husband and I struggled to unlock the door and even more difficult to make the final turn to open the door. The key felt like it would snap in the lock. It was painful on the fingers and wrist. Even our grown up kids struggled to open the door. We tried differents things but struggled to resolve the issue. Shutting the door was also difficult. the bolts would stick open or shut. A couple of times we found the door could actually be pushed open. I bought the graphite powder and just sprinkled a little bit onto the key. I pushed it in and out of the lock and turned the key back and forth, after a couple of days the lock works beautifully now. The bolts were still a bit tricky making shutting the door noisy and hard work. So I put a few puffs of graphite into a pot. Using an old eyeliner brush, I brushed a little of the powder around the bolts where the pop in and out of the door. That has worked a treat too. We now have a door we can open and close without waking the whole neighbourhood. Well worth every penny as there was a very definite hazard with regard to emergency access and egress. For everyone who is struggling with their Eurolocks the graphite powder is the answer to your prayers.
