Vertico | Deluxe Shoe Polish and Care Kit

This kit has everything that a shoe polishing kit needs. This is the first kit I've ever purchased that has a micro brush included. I just used an old toothbrush with my previous shoe polishing kit but this one had something like that included so I threw away the old toothbrush out. I also like that this kit has two horsehair applicators, one for the black polish and the other for the waterproofing mink oil as well as two buffer rags for the same purpose.The polish has worked nicely for me thus far. The only reason for 4 stars was due to some of the bristles initially coming loose from the horsehair applicators and there was a layer of flaking polish at the top of the black polish (which I easily removed) but both of those issues did not affect the polishing of my shoes.

The kit was a good starter kit. I'm not sure how long polish is supposed to last, but the black shoe polish was completely dried out and unusable after 3 years. I bought Kiwi shoe polish a long time before this kit, and it is still usable and not dried out at all.

Used this for the first time today and discovered three problems:1. the dauber brushes lose bristles as soon as you touch them. they lose bristles when you pick them up and when you dab the polish or mink oil (leaving bristles in the polish/oil containers)2. the polishing cloths shed lint; this was especially problematic when trying to polish shoes that I'd used the mink oil on - the cloth didn't really polish the oil, it just left lint all over the shoes3. the buffing brush loses bristles as easily as the dauber brushesafter doing a single pair of shoes, they were covered in lint and bristles and there were loose bristles everywhereCOMPLETE waste of money

+2 for the customer support and the oil seems to be usable.The brushes use good hair, yet too soft and cheaply made. Oil and shoe cream were dry, polishing cloths somehow are stained. Bag has the worst quality out of all, but it not so important for usability. Unusable, returning the product - avoid it

Very cheap feel and black show polish/wax was all dried out and broken up in the can. I paid twice what I could have bought with a similar kit locally and opted for this based on the description as I wanted a deluxe product.

Not a bad kit. Brushes are bigger and seems to be better quality than the set Kiwi offers. Mink Oil a nice addition nut not thrilled with the black polish though. Zipper pouch also nicer that the one Kiwi comes with.

First off, the travel case this comes in is great and the perfect size for what's inside. Very portable. The real horsehair brushes are awesome, and the micro cleaning brush is a nice touch. What is also cool is the shoe polish and mink oil are larger containers than you usually find elsewhere, great bang for your buck! After shining up and polishing my dress shoes, I barely made a dent in the container. This will last me for quite awhile, years I'm sure. Great product, highly recommended buy!
