An amazing game!!
I've been playing this game since 2002-2003; it's truly an amazing game that never got that much attention here in the US. If it had been advertised in the US, it would easily still be a huge game with a strong online community. I'm sure there would have been many more versions produced as well.I found this game on my cousin's computer back in 2002 and I fell in love with it. The problem was that the disk had been badly damaged and my computer couldn't download the game. I searched everywhere to see if anyone sold the game. It turns out that the game had been discontinued in the United States for awhile (well before 2002). I finally managed to get the disk repaired so that the game was downloadable, and it has been on multiple flash drives and multiple computers of mine since. As the previous reviewer stated, the game disk is comparable to the holy grail and I will never let go of it. I still play the game to this day, and I would easily pay well over $100 for a brand new copy in an unopened package! The game is obviously a little dated by today's standards, but back in 02, it was WAY ahead of its time - my computer with windows 2000 could barely even handle running the game. The multiplier is second to none, you can play a randomly created map with up to 7 opponents with many other ways of customizing the game play. It sounds pretty basic, but even by today's standards it still offers much more than many games on the market. I always seem to find myself with the urge to play it over most modern games. It's 100% addicting!I would easily rate Tzar as a 10/10, it's a shamed that it was poorly advertised and quickly discontinued in the US.If it was marketed properly, it would most definitely still have a huge following and there would be limitless multiplier and campaign scenarios!

FORGET THE PRICE
Great game, I did not buy it on Amazon though, and this price of over $100 is insane, I bought it brand new at a local Frys Electronics for about $9.This was my very first RTS game and I it got me hooked on the Genre, I really love the game, I love the campaign, but I must admit that Multiplayer sucks on account that it doesn't work......I mean that's not all together true, Multiplayer works, but it took a while to get it to work. Not that it matters since when I did get on, not a lot of people play this game, and single player sandbox is extremely fun already.

Great game, Highly recommended!!!
Just as others have said, my friends and I played this game more than any other. I have been playing it since 2000 when my friend brought it over from Bulgaria. I just wish this game would become available on steam and get some kind of online community going.

Best Fing Game I've Ever Played
My friends and I have played this game since 2002, and We are STILL playing it. Nothing we've played so far can compare to the enjoyment and shear excitement that we received. We have one copy of this game and it has been the most sacred artifact that we've ever set eyes on. We would ditch the holy grail to save that disc.Plus it has a great sound track.

Excellent
One of the best RTS games out there. I don't know why it wasn't more popular, it fixed many of the problems that beset Age of Empires, such as tiny figures, impenetrable forests and overpowered siege weapons. We enjoyed many hours playing the campaign. Highly recommended. My 3 favorite amazon purchases:- The Star Kings by Jack Vance- Gerber Organic Yogurt Melts (strawberry and Banana)- Great Fighter Jets of the Galaxy 1 by Tim Gibson
