No. ive never seen a cord with a seal or gasket that would make it waterproof when plugged into an outlet.

Great extension cord for outdoors

This is the second extension cord I bought so I could use for lights and my pool patio. I’ve had one of them for over a year and extremely happy with it. I actually bury it slightly under the dirt along railroad tides to hide the cord. Live in New England and the cold never affected it Very flexible and not stiff like other cords I’ve had.
