Brightening Sun Lightening Spray with Chamomile – Enhances Highlights & Brightens Blonde Hair – Hydrogen Peroxide, Ammonia, Silicone

This lighten spray really works! I like to use it when I’m out in the sun and I usually see results after the first use. The only downside is that it has a strong scent that will linger in the hair. But i don’t mind since it works.

Effective, and much nicer than the old sun sprays I used as a pre-teen in the early 90’s. Not brassy or streaky. Probably best just used on already blonde hair though- but unnaturally blonde is fine too. It just works to add natural looking highlights that are subtle and gradual. I like it on medium to dark blonde hair to add a little sun kissed dimension. I’m not sure how it would do on brunette hair.

The color change is very subtle, which is what I wanted. I recommend using it when you'll be in the sun for a few hours or more, anything less than that, and you wont really see a change. It does make your hair a little greasy, but if you don't overdo it, it will soak in after a day; I don't have to wash my hair after using it. My hair doesn't feel damaged or dry at all, and I've used this many times. I highly recommend it!

Smells like poisonous chemical fragrance. Destroyed my har and did not lighten it. My hair fell out and I can’t get the poisonous smell out. Carcinogenic ingredients.

I can’t comment on functionality, but I do hope this brand lessens the strength of the scent as it was overpowering for me. I have dark brown hair, so I’m unsure how it would have worked anyway. It was also a little sticky, but I would have been willing to get past that if it wasn’t so strong smelling.
