Excellent Multi Use Item.
This plate is excellent. It took a couple of weeks to arrive from Japan, but I was expecting that when I ordered it. I chose this plate because it has deep sides and a completely flat bottom. This enables it to double up as a shallow bowl, but more importantly, with an improvised handle, as a frying pan. I tested this theory out straight away. I used it over my wood gasifying stove to fry up some bacon and some gourmet burgers from my local butchers shop, and the results were excellent. The inside of the plate did burn quite badly, so it wouldn't be any good for frying eggs or making pancakes/omelettes, but as long as I kept the food moving about it wasn't a problem for my usage. The label did say not to use an abrasive cleaner on it, but I did anyway. I carry a small piece of stainless steel pan scourer in my cook kit, and the plate came up clean with that, some fairy liquid and some elbow grease. It did leave the scratches on the surface of the plate though, but that doesn't bother me personally. Also, you can use it as a plate ;-)

Grate plate
Lightweight, decent depth. 180mm seems very small in my hands though. Ideally, 250mm would be a good size and closer to a dinner plate from your cupboard. Also, I'm not sure if this is a titanium thing but it instructs you not to use abrasion to clean it - which I will probably do anyway so I wonder how it will stand up.

Featherlight yet study
Light weight. Bought for wild camping. Solid and usual great quality you expect from Snow Peak.

Excellent
Good quality and yes, you can cook on it fine. Obviously it’s very thin titanium so hot spots can be a problem, but that’s only to be expected given the limitations of the material. Worth the money.

good quality
I was surprised at the relatively small size but impressed with the quality which is excellent. Ideal if trekking because it weighs only 63 gms although small enough to warrant a second helping. As for delivery that was a let down at just short of 4 weeks, hence 3 stars.

Like ANY AND ALL! SUL backpacking gear, use the mantra "take care of it, and it will take care of you". So it is LIGHT, THIN Ti. If you want something to just throw around carelessly, use as a shovel...it is NOT for you. I typically have our 3 nested for family trips, so this reinforces them and prevents bending. I use wax paper or air fryer liners to ease clean up. Why not just use a flying disc or Cool Whip container with Al foil or wax paper liner like the old days? Well, the Ti is nice to have when one is lucky enough to catch a back country trout if you pack a Tenkara rod! Either bring a dedicated pot grabber or use a wet cotton bandanna. Ti isn't the optimal fry pan material, but one can cook a small trout on this thing, so that makes it worth it. Also, if you run out of liners and get it greasy, heating water on it helps with cleaning. NOTE-after exposure to cooking, especially on an open fire, it will have a "beausage" look to it that you have actually used your gear.

Works as advertised. Titanium is strong and lightweight. I fried bacon and eggs in this plate over an isobutane stove, and it turned out great. The colour will change when heated, but it doesn't affect the integrity of the plate. Easy to clean as well. Good little dish for backpacking trips when weight is an issue.
