Q: I have 2 shotguns that i want to train on. one takes only a 2 3/4" shell and the other only a 3". will these work in both shotguns? ty for replies

2-3/4" shells when crimped measure to about 2-1/4". If your shotgun can take 3" shells it can use the 2-3/4" shells with no issues.

Q: Can these be used for dry fire? Isn't drt fire part of a drill?

Yes, this is the reason why i bought it. This is also good for practice how to load, reload and dry fire.

Q: Do they cycle and feed well? How do they hold up after time? I plan to put two in my side by side to relieve stress on the springs from firing pins,

They cycle and feed great! As for holding up over time, I haven't had them that long, but the brass part of the shell gets most of the wear, and since it is brass, I imagine it will hold up for quite a long time. It's a good well-made product in my opinion.

Q: I suppose these are not good for dry firing since the pin will not contact anything?

There is a chunk of plastic for the firing pin to strike.
