What is the actual material? Cotton or man made?

This is quoted fromWilkpedia: Chenille will look different in one direction compared to another, as the fibers "catch the light differently. Chenille can appear iridescent without actually using iridescent fibers. The yarn is commonly manufactured from cotton, but can also be made using acrylic, rayon and olefin." I cannot verify exactly but the material certainly behaves like cotton. It is a beautiful product, highly recommended, hope this helps.

Has anyone washed this yet? If so, how did it fair? Thanks in advance.

Yes, I recently washed it. Washed it in washing machine in a 30 degree wash. Did not tumble dry it this time but let it dry on wash line outside. It kept its shape and colour. This was its first wash so I treated it 'with caution' this first wash and it worked,

the listing mentions 2 different sizes but I cannot see how to select which size?

if you want this as a multi use item i would chose the larger size, to hang over a table.
