Does the 5g work on att?

To my understanding, 6D comes with Mediateck chip which is perfectly works with T-Mobile, instantly. I am just assuming it should work with ATT , too. Vs. Rog 5, still doesn't see 5G neither of TMobile nor ATT......so

So, will this model work with t mobile even if i buy it without contract with tmobile?

Mediateck is good for TMOBILE

Despite of resetting phone and reinstalling game several times , THIS phone is NOT pulling the Last Shelter Survival ...PERIOD!!! The corners of the screen are not THAT sensitive as on my ROG 5. BUT, ROG 5 cannot see TMobile's 5G thing, while ROG 6D got is instantly. Mediatek is doing great job!!!
