Durable and flexible
This is an awesome low-cost laptop/tablet. This is my second 11e, I bought my first about 5 years ago and it's still working great. I got this one for the faster processor and more memory. It's not a gaming PC, and it's not a CGI platform, but as a multipurpose, durable machine, it is perfect. I travel with it, I use it for speaking, notetaking, and as my desktop with a 32" monitor connected through the HDMI port. Do it!

Perfect for school
Bought 2. One has much lower volume level than the other, but so far have been exactly what the kids needed for school. They log in all day and the machines have done all we needed.

2019 version: Serves the purpose I needed. Updated Review after 3 Years of Ownership
This is a fabulous tablet and PC! I love the touch screen. It has a lot of storage capacity and processes and operates quickly. It is a significant upgrade from my older laptop. The webcam is great, and I've used it much since the COVID-19 pandemic has warranted video meetings and conferences for my work. When I purchased, my goal was to get a smaller laptop that could easily store in my tote to reduce the number of bags that I need to carry. My only complaint is that after it sits dormant for a while, the internet connection disconnects. The only way to reconnect is to entirely restart the computer. Otherwise, if I just allow it to open from the sleep status and attempt to connect to the internet, it won't work. That's why I gave it four stars instead of five. As a result of this minor inconvenience, I've just completely shut it down after each use. Then, it's ready to connect the next time I use it.Review revised 3 years later (2022). Expect it to last 3 years with moderate usage. The laptop suddenly failed without warning. First, certain keys on the keyboard stopped responding. I had to flip the device to tablet mode to log in, as the touch screen worked just fine. About 2 weeks later, in the middle of editing a document, an "updating" message appeared on the screen, followed by the screen going black, and the device becoming unresponsive. It would not power on, but the power light on the top panel indicated that it was getting power from being plugged in. A laptop repair shop confirmed that it was dead. Fortunately, a computer repair store was able to retrieve my files.
