Great teaching resource, but not worth more than £10 or so
I was shown one of these at the 'Centre for life' in Newcastle and I though it was a great way to introduce cell biology to younger children. Great for learners who like to have a tactile experience when they're learning new information. I would want to have several of these though, as one would take a long time to get round the class. I was told that they were less than £10 each, so I'll hang on until I can find some cheaper versions. In the meantime I've made a 2D laminated cell that the students can velcro organelles onto for a kinesthetic experience for my students.
