La notice de montage, en français, est détaillée et précise. En procédant avec méthode selon cette notice, le montage, qui est assez long, se déroule sans accroc, et l'expérience est plutôt gratifiante... Le résultat aussi. Les proportions de l'établi sont idéales pour un usage amateur, les fonctionnalités sont bien pensées, le débord du plateau est un avantage net par rapport à d'autres établis, et, le mécanisme des tiroirs est d'une douceur remarquable. A noter : Il n'y a ni prise électrique, ni éclairage, alors que le descriptif est ambigu sur ce point. Des avis clients précédents avaient relevé ce point, et je n'ai donc pas été surpris. Peut être une réserve sur le produit, vu le prix : des clips de fixation pour les crochets porte-outils auraient été bienvenus. Une réserve mineure sur le colis : Il manquait 2 vis #41 (M4x8L), le sachet de boulonnerie de sécurité n'en contenant qu'une, je n'ai fixé l'étagère supérieure qu'avec 5 vis au lieu de 6 !

For $235 I'm actually quite impressed with the quality. I guess I've gotten used to paying for junk and have low expectations when I buy stuff, but this was a pleasant surprise. There were no issues during assembly and I actually enjoyed it. Directions were clear and concise. A power drill with torque settings is essential to getting this done in a timely fashion without killing your hands due to the sheer amount of tight-threaded screws it takes to build this bench. A quality dual-wrench and magnetic screwdriver are included if you have nothing else. This thing is beefy and it's screwed down at every conceivable spot for maximum strength. Once assembled you know this things can take a beating and easily hold several hundred pounds on the table top without breaking a sweat. The natural hardwood table top is over an inch thick with a basic glazing. Industrial grade rubber feet are adjustable to ensure maximum stability. The included light is perfect for this bench, gives off plenty of usable light. The power strip is actually a decent quality, snaps in perfectly to the peg board and is UL listed - which is important. The peg board is thick gauge steel and sturdy, the pegs are high quality as well with round balls on the back to keep them in place when adding and removing items. The drawers were the only point of contention based on some reviews but my experience was flawless. The ball bearings work great, the drawers tuck in nice and deep under the table top with a smooth glide. I have one drawer holding all my air compressor tools and attachments (at least 25lbs) and the drawer show no signs of stress or fatigue. Another nice touch is the drawers "lock in" at the very end, ensuring it never slides out by accident. At $235 this feels like bargain, it would be impossible (and a hassle) to assemble everything here for less. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and my wife was very pleased with the fit and finish as well, it looks fantastic in our garage. It's modern but industrial looking with great finishes and no sharp edges. It really has a quality look and feel and I can't wait to use it on my next project. Highly recommended!

This workbench is best of breed from any source. It is extremely sturdy, well designed, well built and easily assembled by one person if you take your time (it took me two hours including unpacking). The instructions are decent but the best part is all parts are labeled with a sticker with part number and arrow pointing to "Front" making it easy to put together. All of the contents were present and for the most part undamaged by shipping, which was something I was worried about given the 100 lb. plus weight...a testament to the way the components are packed, which is mentioned by several others rating this workbench. The bench legs are adjustable so that I can sit in a tall drafting chair with my legs under the shelves. I am 6'0" and with the table adjusted to sit under, the top of the work surface hits just below my belt buckle when standing, which is perfect for me. The bench is 2' X 4' laminated 1-1/2" thick butcher block beech hardwood with a urethane finish and makes up the bulk of the weight of this workbench. The beech wood is softer than hardrock maple and will ding pretty easily but hey, it's a workbench, not your wife's breakfast table (don't ask)! The pegboard is sturdy metal, attached to the bench and the unit comes complete with two fairly large capacity drawers that measure roughly 18" wide by 16-1/2" long by 3-1/2" deep. Liners are also provided. There is a long, narrow shelf with liner on top of the pegboard, just right for holding spray cans, lubricants, solvents, etc. A fluorescent light mounts under the shelf, and a power strip mounts to the left or right on the pegboard and there is even a starter set of metal hooks in a variety of sizes and shapes. The best part though is given the weight of the workbench, the $253 price includes shipping! This workbench is made in China, but it is far superior to the other "junk" that's out there. Just follow the instructions and don't tighten the screws down until the entire component is assembled and you won't have to retrace steps during the assembly.

I thought i would take a chance and purchase this bench and i am glad i did. There was a small delay receiving from FedEx due to the holidays. Once i opened the 100 pound box i immediately saw it was quality. I sorted out all the parts and each part was protected in it own wrapper or by Styrofoam. They even give you extra bolts and screws in case you lose one. My bench didn't have even one scratch or dent on it. The wood table top is really to pretty to use it as a work bench. The table top is like a butcher block cutting board a inch and a half thick. It is the heaviest part of the bench. The pegboard is steel and is also powder coated. The entire bench is powder coated in light gray. I am in a power chair and had NO HELP putting it together. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ASSEMBLE THIS BENCH WITHOUT READING THE INSTRUCTIONS! YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU TRY. WHEN IT SAYS NOT TO TIGHTEN CERTAIN BOLTS DO EXACTLY LIKE INSTRUCTED. THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE SUPER EXCELLENT. I followed each number in the instructions and checked them off one by one. Each part is labeled with a number and also which direction it faces. The hardware is excellent quality and all the bolts and screws fit perfectly in the bench. No trying to line everything up it all fits together perfectly if you follow the instructions. I have some benches that cost more and don't measure up to the quality of this bench. It took me 5 hours to assemble this bench. It took me one hour just to sort out all the parts. I am disabled and in a power chair so i am not that fast at assembling things, not to mention the instructions recommend a two person installation. It was so heavy after i assembled it upside down that i had to hook it to my electric hoist to lift it up and set it upright. I can't stress it enough that everything fit together perfectly. The drawers are super smooth on the ball-bearing supports. The front of the drawers are stainless steel.I am going to buy another. Remember what i said don't tighten any bolts or screws when it tells you not to do. Eventually it will tell you when to tighten up everything. I can't even imagine putting this bench together by just looking at the pictures. However the know it all's will try to do this and they will never get the drawers to fit, ruin the ball bearing slides, and have to dismantle the whole bench and start over reassembling the bench. If something doesn't line up perfectly then you didn't follow the instructions and your life will be a nightmare. You can't make a mistake buying this bench.
