Red Star Tec Wireless Powerpoint and Keynote Presentation Remote Clicker PR-819 (Blue, 1 Pack)

This is a fantastic bit of kit! Yeah yeah, I know there is millions on the market and believe me, I’ve been through a few. But I was especially impressed with this one, the price is great, it fits in your hand nicely and all the buttons are nice and easy to press, additionally they are all within reaching distance, which is a bonus, no messing about trying to change your grip. There is a laser pointer in the end which is useful and the forward and back buttons are perfectly placed below the laser button. The USB receiver is larger than I’d have liked but it is so easy to plug and play it doesn’t matter, and to make things easier there is a slot in the bottom of the controller the usb slots in for storage. I literally put the batteries in the controller plugged the usb in and it worked straight away. To make it even better it comes with a nice zip up case to store it in and the box it all comes in makes it feel like a really expensive product. All in all I’m impressed, and so are my colleagues who have borrowed it (they all want one too now). Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Would I buy it again? Definitely. A simple, easy to use, premium product at a reasonable not so premium price. I should mention the company too. I got a lovely email from the owner of the company thanking me for my purchase, and encouraging me to let him know my thoughts on the product, good or bad. The item came well packaged and tracking was available throughout. Once again if you are looking for one of these. I’d highly recommend it’s this one you choose.

Bought the product as my computer is at the back of the classroom and it became quite annoying to have to go back and forth. The product is really good and has a great range. Its completely plug and play. The ability to click a button to open the presentation and close it is really useful. I have also found myself using the laser pointer more often as well. It has a useful storage/carry zip-up case so I can carry the device around and not leave it in the PC. Overall, a great product at a great price.

I bought this remote clicker to use when delivering lectures and I use it with a Microsoft surface pro. It feels well made and of good quality materials, it comes in a nice zip up case and presentation box. It was simple to set up and works perfectly even when standing at the rear of large lecture theatres. I thought that it was good value for money and would highly recommended it.

The Red Star is ideal for serious lecturers who want to present their lectures in a professional manner. The Red star is small enough to fit in your palm, easy to navigate and can quickly change slides on a click of the arrow. The Red star gives you freedom to move around the room as you interact with your audience (students in my case), and helps to increase intellectual intimacy. The infra green light is useful for pointing at key messages without standing in front of the presentation. Finally, the cost is well worth it and value for money. Ideal for me as a busy lecturer and easy to carry around as it is light in weight.

It has been everything it has been described - good quality for the price, works first time without having to configure - just plug and use and the only 'negative' noted was as others has said, the 'on-off' switch is really 'light' and may not take much abuse if you were to use it on a daily basis. I have only perhaps two/three talks a month so for me, its money well spent!! Its worthy of note that the lazer pointer is a definite added extra and it has made presenting easier - a feature which some dearer models don't have!! All in all... a value for money item that will suit the casual user and serve them loyally!

I bought this presentation clicker to use for PowerPoint presentations, having made the mistake before of always going for the cheapest option. This one is altogether better. Having two batteries it lasts for longer and is not easy to leave on by mistake. One of the most attractive features is the little zip case that takes both the pointer and the USB wireless receiver. A pleasure to use!

The USB connection is badly designed. Being so long it is at risk of being damaged and within 24 hours, mine got knocked and broken and I had to buy a second one before I had used the first one for a real presentation. So in effect, it cost me £44 +. Not good value.

Lo he utilizado ya varias veces, es igual que uno de primera marca que había probado anteriormente y funciona igual, pero en este caso, cuesta 3 veces menos. No requiere instalación, el puntero funciona correctamente y pasa diapositivas perfectamente. Cumple su función perfectamente, además de venir muy bien presentado con su funda y cajita.

Il prodotto è arrivato entro i tempi dichiarati. E' maneggevole e i tasti sono di facile utilizzo, grande a sufficienza per non doversi guardare le mani prima della lavagna. Il laser è luminoso. L'installazione immediata e il funzionamento fluido e con risposta immediata al tocco. Molto soddisfatto, anche per il costo contenuto (comperato in offerta). Lo sto usando da qualche giorno e non posso dire della durata nel lungo periodo. Ma per ora ben contento dell'acquisto.

Love it. Easy to use just put the usb in the pc or laptop and click away when on power point. Laser helpful when presenting as well 🙂 Recommend. Small compact easy for in hand bag for teachers or lecturers.

ça marche très bien, c'est plus facile pour les présentations, on peut passer d'image en image et avoir un pointeur, le tout dans une seule main même loin du PC. un seul point noir le fait qu'il était marquer nul part, lors de mon achat, qu'il y avait une petite clés USB dans la télécommande à retirer et installer sur le PC !!!! Trouvé un peut par hasard, mais une fois mise sur mon PC portable, magique ça marche tout seul, il faut dire que je suis pas très doué en informatique et que le vendeur ma répondu très rapidement. j'utilise la télécommande sur un PC portable pour faire de la formation, c'est très pratique car pas toujours devant le pc et vidéo projecteur. pâr contre je ne peut pas comparer avec un autre produit car c'est le premier de ce type que j'utilise, au départ je ne cherchait un pointeur, très comptant d'avoir trouvé ce produit subjuguer par Amazon dans la liste de recherche
