Kobalts 80-Volt Lithium Ion Battery Charger

Some reviewers said it wasn’ta real Kobalt? I don’t know. It says Kobalt in it, and the battery fits perfectly. It works just fine. Hopefully it will last. I’ll update with any issues.

The new design has a fan to keep from overheating while charging, works much better. Made for 2.5 amp. With not charge 3.5 amp batteries

Works great. Nice, cheaper option than the original chargers. Other reviews have said it's loud. I suppose it is a little louder than others, but I keep it in the garage, so what difference does it make?

What I thought was a bad battery, ended up being a bad charger. Thankfully, considering the latter is much cheaper, and this was the best option.It's more compact than the one that came with the Kobalt 80V Snowblower, and I appreciate the blue matte finish vs the black glossy one that shows every little bit of dust. The fan noise is about the same, but the footprint takes up much less table space. It's also much less akward to place a battery on the dock than the orignal. Sliding the battery onto the pins from the side just seemed so akward. This one should have been the original design.All in all, definitely a future purchase if I ever need to have multiple chargers.Cons: Fan seems to run for quite a while longer after the battery is charged than the original.Pros: Price and Design Improvement.

First one lasted less than 2 weeks, stopped working. Just ordered another thinking maybe a dud but they sent me a 40 volt charger instead of 80. Going to Lowes!!
