17 Sizes Digital Crochet Hooks with Counter 2.50~14.0mm, Lighted Crochet Hooks for Stitch & Row Counting

Part One: I returned this item because I found the smaller plastic hooks were too shallow, they kept dropping the yarn (image of the hooks, you can see there is hardly any actual hook.) This also seemed to make my stitches a lot looser. I have included a pic of two ducks, same pattern, same yarn, same size hook used - the smaller one on the right was done with a regular hook, the larger one in the left with these hooks. You can see the difference (ignore the feet, I used two different methods on those.)The larger hooks did not have this problem so much.However, I did rather like the set and the idea behind it. The light was great, it has two settings. I fully charged it before using, and then left it on the brightest setting for 20 minutes, it was still going strong.It is not an automatic counter, I don't know how that idea got around. It has a manual row and stitch counter in the larger handle. The row counter is most useful, the stitch counter was a bit too tedious for me. But I could see it being useful if you're learning, or if you have to get up in the middle of a row, you could quickly tap in how many stitches you've done.The main reason I got this was the bigger handles. I don't know why it's so hard finding hooks with larger handles, but there needs to be more of them. I get cramps in my hands easily and the bigger the handle the better.In the amount of time it took me to make the duck my hand didn't hurt at all, not sure about longer projects yet.I'm returning this set but ordering the one with metal hooks for the smaller sizes, and will update once I've tried those out.For the money, the all plastic hooks set is Not worth it.***Part Two: I have tested it the metal hooks set and it makes such a difference. I added pictures comparing the 3.5 in plastic and metal and it's easy to see the difference. They work so much better. I find it easier than my Susan Bates hook of the same size.I also like that the tool to apply the hooks is two sided rather than two different tools.As a bonus, these hooks are labeled with their sizes on the base.The bases and handles are made of plastic, so be gentle with them. It does not require any force to put on our take off the hooks.Overall, get the metal hook set. I will update later if anything happens to them, but for now it's 5 stars.

I have been eyeing something similar to this set for awhile. I am so excited that now when it is cooler in the evenings I can still work on my projects despite the fading sunlight. My husband loves to sit on our porch and watch the sunset. Typically I am working on a project and have to either forego spending time with him outside or continuing to work on my projects. Now I can do both! I love that there are stitch and row counters. No more apps needed to track. Despite still having to manually indicate an extra row or stitch. Still easier than using a separate app to track. Since its a quick click of a button on the hook. Not to mention the multiple options of brightness on the hook itself! Love this! And even better, if no light or counting stitches is necessary. The optional hook base is available. This is the first set I have seen with so many hook size options!! The only downside, I have not been able to find the sizes listed on the hooks themselves. So either count up or compare to your other hooks. But, overall this is a total game changer for me!!

Came a day early I Love that it lights up the yarn and that the hook itself is lit up with the light so you can see the yarn on the hook. The yarn is squeaky on the hook but I put a little baby powder on it and a little more quite 😊 Plus I found it easier to use the counter button facing it away from me and I totally agree with the other persons comment that a back light in the counter would make this a complete kit. Only had for 120 stitches so far and so for I'm liking it 💞 I took one star off because of no back light in the counter 😞😁
