These are great for cookies and candies, they made beautiful orange pumpkins for thanksgiving and Christmas-themed buckeyes, but DO NOT use them for your meringues and macarons. The oil will break down your egg whites and they will not work how you need them to!

What a life saver. I make cake pops every other week and was struggling with the coating and coloring it. Water based food coloring chances the make up of the coating and leaves it clumpy. Using this oil based coloring is a coating changer. No more clumping, it is a smooth coating. Now the colors are workable but could use a royal and navy blue. Bottle are small and trying to get a dark color uses alot of the coloring. Need to find individual bottles of certain colors that I have use often.

I've used my white chocolate and food coloring and had issues with the chocolate thickening with different brands. I had high hopes for this oil based food coloring with reviews I was seeing. First of all, the red wouldn't make my chocolate red, it was an ugly pinkish red. And the chocolate got so thick I couldn't use it and that was from the oil based food coloring. The more I would add the more it was thickening. And I couldn't get my chocolate red like the color advertised. It's false advertising and this item isn't eligible for return so I just wasted $15 and I'm super upset! Beware!
