1/72 Scale SR-71a Blackbird Metal Model High-Altitude Reconnaissance Aircraft Military Diecast Plane Model for Collection or Gift

Like the others have said, amazing quality great packaging and artwork if that matters... Attention to detail is top-notch. It is not the fault of the product or necessarily the store but shipping can be a little vague, so have some patience once it hits the United States. The only thing that could use a little work like the others have stated is the front nose gear doors "i-flight" configuration or loose so maybe a little silicone to hold that in place. Definitely worth it!

This is truly beautiful! Its quality made. The cockpit leaves something to be desired, but I just leave that closed. It's just a bonus that it opens to me. The only other criticism is about the way it secures.... it doesn't really, so be careful around it when moving it around. It looks great though and I get a lot of compliments on it in my office. One of the greatest planes ever built. 💪💪 USA!! 🇺🇸

Excellently made replica of the SR-71. I use superglue to keep parts as it permanently sits on its wheels. This is the most realistic position which simulates being parked in the hangar!

The first item I ordered had come with some minor painting defects, but I ordered a replacement and a new model, in perfect condition, was sent by the seller in under three days. The model is high-quality (almost entirely made of a metal alloy), beautiful, and realistic. The front cockpit can be opened and you can choose between using the landing gears or just closing the openings. It looks amazing on my shelf!

I am not a serious collector so I do not know what to look for when purchasing these types of display memorobilia. That said, I am happy with my purchase. The size is great, it has a good solid weight, feel and detailed appearance. So for my needs it is perfect. Truth be told, the Black Friday pricing forced my hand.

Great model

This is a great display model. It is heavy, solid, highly detailed, and is my favorite by far. I have a few 1/72 models of various air frames; this is the highest quality. It’s cool to see all of the airframes together in same scale, to see where we are and where we have been in aerospace.

The level of detail on this model is very impressive. My only issue with it is that the piece of plastic that you insert to simulate the front landing gear being up during flight is so loose that it doesn’t actually stay in place when the model is sitting on the display stand. Other than that I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good diecast model of the SR-71

Well crafted , looks good. I have been looking for the SR -71 in a bigger size, and this was it. Price was to be expected. Overall I am happy with it.

After a few disappointments from a couple of other models I bought, (not nesasarialy this agent) I was amazed at how quickly I could construct the parts without instructions except for the undercarriage where there is a choice of the undercarriage in use or remove & replaced with closed undercarriage caps. Here the forward under courage needs some adhesive especially the door as it just drops off The rear is fine ALLso be WARNED THE PIN THAT GOES IN THE FRONT IS VERY SMALL & IN A VERY SMALL SEE THROUGH BAG MAKING IT Very Easy to miss & lose. It took me ten mimits to find mine but new it had to be there also you need some thick but fast setting glue to fit it properly Otherwise a first class model. Top in my collection I would give 5* if it wasn't for these faults
