Works well - I highly recommend!
I followed the directions, and I used this from my cheekbones to just under my chin back to my hairline. Put it on my upper lip and just inside my lower nostrils. I let it sit for 5 minutes. After I wiped and washed it off, I felt a prickly, slightly burning sensation, with slight redness. There were a few strays I plucked away, mostly toward the corners of my mouth, but it did a better job than my epilator which I usually use on my upper lip. I will definitely be using this again. A calming type lotion, something you might use for after a sunburn, helped with the slight irritation and redness. It did not last long, and the next day it was fine. My serums, cremes and makeup go on so nicely now. Will be using this product from now on. I have fairly sensitive skin, but this worked ok for me (see above).

Much better than NAIR 20 years ago...still could use some improvement
So the last time I attempted to use NAIR was as a teenager 20 years ago....I hated it. I used it on my legs and it smelled like poison to the point where I thought I would faint from the fumes and on top of that, it didn't do anything. Not a single leg hair was removed. And now today, I have been annoyed with how frequently I have to shave my face recently. I guess we get more peach fuzz as we age? Anyways, it was annoying me and I was tired of shaving but afraid of waxing and can't afford laser removal, so I decided to try NAIR again. This time, not only was the product much more potent, but it actually worked pretty well! I did leave it on a bit too long, I think because in my head I remembered NAIR not working in the past. Next time I use it, I will actually try removing a patch from my cheeks around the 3 or 4 minute mark. Five minutes was actually a bit too much. It stung pretty badly to wipe off. The skin/hair on my jaw is tougher than what's on my cheeks though, because that area could've probably used an extra minute or two. But anyways, for the first time using it, I'm pretty happy with the results. Some tiny peach fuzz hairs remain, but they are all very short, fine, and light in color and don't really bother me. It was the longer and/or thicker areas that did, mostly on my cheeks. Be ready with the vaseline or aloe gel after using this, though. Definitely don't apply any actives before or after. Just a super gentle cleanser, this, and then a thick ointment. I did this and while it burned a bit taking it off and for a little while after and my skin was a bit pink/red, I did it before bed and when I woke up my skin was fine again. I still didn't use any actives that day just to be safe, but I started using gentle actives again the next day and went back to my normal skincare routine the following day and did not experience any further irritation. I would say based on all of these comments that if it's your first time, you should only do a small area, and you might also want to test if the hair is removed after about 3 minutes instead of waiting the full 5. You can always apply a bit more if it's not coming off yet. Just try to use it for the least amount of time possible to be effective and then heavily hydrate your face afterwards. Hypochlorous acid spray (the active in Tower 28 SOS, but I use a generic) was also great for soothing/calming the redness down.

Burn and skin irritation
I hate this product so much. The time required to remove all of the hair is also the amount of time it takes to burn my skin. Then it leaves my skin dry and flaking for days afterwards. Terrible product.

It worked, but it didn’t.
It does remove the hair BUT if you have a few thicker courser darker hairs (the few Tahoe’s that are the reason for buying a whole hair removal product) it leaves the root. So yes, your face will be smooth and hydrated but the thick dark roots will be there as if you had simply shaved your face and the (in my case black hair) root that remains will be very visible. So yes it does remove the length, but no I wouldn’t buy it again because I’m not interested in worrying about the 5 oclock shadow. It was very well scented and didn’t burn my face at all. Easy to apply and remove.

Pretty good!
This worked for me. 5 minutes tops! It did leave my forehead (only part of my face that I have used it on so far) slightly red, and feeling a bit sensitive. Probably best to use when you’re at home for the day. The smell isn’t as bad as other Nair products, very mild and tolerable. I would purchase this again as it’s by far the best facial hair removal cream I have tried so far. Would recommend.

It works quickly and removes fine facial hair effortlessly, leaving my skin smooth and soft. I love that it has hyaluronic acid—it feels more hydrating than other hair removal creams I’ve tried and doesn’t leave my skin dry or irritated. For anyone looking for an effective, gentle, and convenient way to remove facial hair, I highly recommend this product.

I don't have a lot of facial hair, but a bit in the mustache area and some on the chin (this unfortunately happens to some of us ladies as we get older). I did two spot tests -- one in each area -- that came back fine. I waited a few days and then applied a thin amount of the product as directed to my chin and mustache line. The chin area worked fine, but unlike the Nair I use for my legs, the hair grew back quickly. So basically, it's not worth it for my chin. My mustache line was a different story. Despite the test, my skin reacted and was red and inflamed. By the next day, it had returned to normal. And, like my chin, the hairs grew back quicker than expected. I followed the directions carefully and believe I applied it properly and did not leave it on longer than instructed. For some people, I'm sure this is a wonderful product, but unfortunately, it's not for me.
