This is very good for time outs.
It’s a visual timer. So it’s working for my great nieces time outs. She is very head strong. And likes to keep asking. “Is it time yet. “ so this gives her a visual reference so she knows how long she has. We use it for other things to give her time limits on things she needs to finish. Seems to be helping a lot. Love that you just roll it to get to a different amount of time. Very nice and simple timer.

Did not work
The timer would stop after a few seconds, LED screen would go blank. Unfortunately didn't use until the return window closed.

Cannot STOP the Timer
I would not recommend buying this timer because, while you can pause the timer you cannot stop it. So having it in my backpack causes it to randomly start a timer and go off in the middle of a class which is very annoying! My solution to that has been to take the batteries off but that is not user-friendly.

CHEAP QUALITY. DON'T BUY!
I purchased this as the price was great compared to other similar timers. I received it on time, however when I put batteries in the device, the screen was so dimly lit, you could barely see it even in the dark. I changed batteries to ensure it wasn't my batteries being low, and still the same issue. Promptly, I called Amazon for a refund, which was more hassle than it was even worth. Do yourself a favor and spring for one that's in the $30-40 range with hundreds of good reviews.

Not good, I'll be returning. Misleading reviews from a different product too!
It initially seems simple enough to use, but then you need to stop your timer early and figure out that clicking twice on the pause button will clear it. Two days later that stops working and the clock display never clears out so that batter has been wasted now from it displaying where I pause it the last time. The instructions don't include anything on these little details.Secondly, most of the reviews on this page are for a different model and not at all applicable to this one. Shame on the vendor for trying to mislead customers.

Screen turns off
The screen turns off while timer ticks down. Can’t see the countdown.

How disappointing
I purchased this timer because I liked the larger face and the preset times (and the design was fun). The first set of batteries lasted 6 weeks. I replaced the batteries. The timer and sound work, but the face of the timer has gone dark. Very frustrating. I would not recommend purchasing.

Sensing is a bit odd, fairly easy to use, can be quite loud
I'm not sure what happened, but it's clear a lot of other reviews here are not for this digital timer product! It came packed nicely with plenty of foam! The instructions are pretty decent. But as usual the English translations are bad. It will give the idea of what to do though and it’s not hard to figure out even without instructions.First off, the rotation sensing is a tad odd. Sometimes It senses even the slightest change in angles and other times I’ve had to sort of flip it back and forth to get it to start the time I want. Sometimes there is also a few seconds of delay once a side/time is set, while others it is immediate. The dual magnets on the back are plenty powerful. I had no issues sticking to the refrigerator, filing cabinet, etc. It holds nicely and can be rotated in place to select your desired time without a problem. When placed against a surface it can mute the beeper volume a tad depending on your surface (over papers or direct on metal), but not a really big deal. The display seems to work well. It has limited display angles as it can only fully flip 180 degrees. It will not align with every time option. It aligns horizontally with only three minutes and thirty minutes. For the rest it sits at a forty-five degree angle. And the screen quickly shuts itself off once the time has expired and it completes the fifteen alarm beeps. One feature I wish it had was the ability to silence the alarm before it finishes its sequence. Another is that I wish I could push the M+ or S+ at any time to add time. But in order to do any custom time you have to push and hold the pause button for a few seconds, the display goes all zero and then you can add your time. Not a deal breaker, but would be nice to just add whenever you want. The overall weight and usability feel nice. It seems to keep time perfectly compared to my phone’s timer. I would definitely recommend this timer despite the odd sensing behavior.
