Yes. Good quality headguard. Large will fit him easily.

The Head guard is adjustable it fits my 14 year old son 145lb also fits me at 250lb but is a quite snug .

OK-The XL is a bit too big for 10 year old girl so I would go L if average 11 year old and XL if closer to adult. Kind regards Stuart
