THIS is an awesome light! I have a shed that I've been having problems getting electricity to. I put this light in there and there's more than enough light to help me work out there! First time I have been able to work out there in 7 years! LOL. Now I have to clean the shed up so I can do more there! Great we! Great light! Works very well with my we Dewalt batteries AND the "less expensive " ones here on Amazon. Be sure to unplug your battery when not in use! It'll drain the battery down real fast.

Works great and is super bright!

This thing is powerful! Lights up my entire 20x18 shed with LED bright lights with just a small worn out DeWalt battery that won’t even power my drill. The switch is what makes it the best. Use electric wire plastic cable mounts to run the wire and place the switch like where a typical light switch would be. 10/10 value and function!

I bought two of the Milwaukee versions. The are nice and bright. The ability to adjust the panels make these fit just about any scenario. I use a Milwaukee 5 Amp hour battery which lasts a long time. They do not seem to have a low voltage cut off, so try not to let your batteries get drained to low. If you do you may have difficulty getting the battery to charge again. Also I was disappointed that they did not come with the power switch at the battery despite being shown in the photos. That is something that is needed. If you hang one of these from the ceiling the on/off switch can end up being to high while the battery is easily reached. I used one of these to build my own free standing shop light. It works great and I am very satisfied. The other light I am using for temporary lighting in a shed. All in all it is a great product, but they need to put the switch bank on by the battery.

Okay I don't always get excited about an item that I got from Amazon but this is one of the best ones I have purchased and for the price, your not going to be disappointed, the light is very bright, and built well and I really can't express what a deal this is for $20 , because not only is the light worth the price, it's got a USB port and C port for charging other devices! It has 6 panels that you can put at any angle to direct the LEDs, (did I mention that they're very bright) there's 24 LEDs in each panel and it has 6 panels, and the center of the light has a round panel which also has 24 LEDs and if I am right that's a total of 168 LEDs, all in a fixture that is about 10 to 12 inch in diameter, and the added hardware is coated STEEL wire not plastic or strings. I've been needing a little more light over the work bench and this is bright enough that I don't need to use the building light, and it would be great to take camping because you can fold it up to a small size, to throw in the backpack, but really every single place you are going to need light you can grab it and your good to go! It was only $19.99 during the sale, and I will probably grab a few more for myself and even get a few for my friends that use DeWalt tools,but they have them for Milwaukee and Makita as well so you can definitely get a light to match your tools, but of course it doesn't come with a battery, I don't know why people leaves a bad review because it doesn't have a battery?!?!? You are not paying $80 or $100 dollars for it and you can't buy a battery along for $20. But yes I highly recommend this product and I hope this review helps.

This light is grrrrreat! It makes a lot of focused light. The only thing, not addressed in the ad is the USB port and the charger port. I tested things in my lab and with a Makita battery in place,there is a 5 volt output on the USB rec. it can be used to charge phones etc. Amperage capacity is unknown. The charger port does not do anything when hooked up to a USB charger. It draws no current. Considering a charger is 5 V. and the battery is 18, what could it do?

Update 2: the replacement worked well for a bit. I use this mostly in my barn. I have it having to provide light while I work in there. It is bright and provides good light. However, the problem I have found is that it pulls too much power through the system to create that style bright light. The battery adapter for the Dewalt 20v battery for so hot after a while it started melting and deforming the plastic housing. I shut it down. After it cooled down, hooked it back up and turned it on. Still works. Still bright. But I no longer trust it for long periods of time. If I need to find something I turn it on, but no longer do I use it as a work light if I need it for more that 10-15 minutes. Update: received a replacement. It works well. My only concern is the exposed thin wires where the light can be adjusted. If you set it and forget it, you probably will not have any issues. But if you change the angles often, the wires might break before the light actually wears out. Good option for light where you do not have power. Original: I was excited to get this light. Opened the box, everything looked great. Looked at the instructions. Plugged up the battery and tried to turn it on. Nothing. Changed battery packs and tried again. Nothing. Changed to fully charged Dewalt battery. Nothing. Dead On Arrival. Contacted Amazon and they are sending me a replacement. I'll see in a few days if the new one works. I'll update the review then.

Works AWESOME!! Only used 2 five amp hour batteries in an 8 hour period!

Perfect iteam

Extremely bright, adjustable and seemingly very well built. Easily lights up a double garage, etc. Easily attaches to 20 Volt DeWalt batteries with a firm fit. Lengthy cord and the on/off switch is a fine addition. I would recommend this work light for a semi-permanent application as I am not sure how well it would do in and out of a tool kit. KS
