Pleasingly bigger than expected, very strong and sturdy, was a bit apprehensive about putting it together but found the instructions really easy to follow took me about an hour not bad for someone over 70. Well worth the price.

Nicely packaged, delivered by independent delivery service, arrived a day earlier than expected.Once constructed, this does look far more expensive than the asking price. It is a nice, contemporary design, the finish throughout is perfect. It stands a little higher than a regular coffee table which makes it perfect for my purpose, and it is quite a size at arond 50cm in diameter so ensure you have the space to show this off. For looks, attractive design, usefulness, this is worth 5 stars but...Construction... the seller states this can be put together in 15 minutes. Are they joking? It takes that long to unpack everything. The brief instruction leaflet says 30 minutes for putting it all together and a one-person job. No, no and another no. I have been putting flat-pack furniture together for almost 60 years, and I have handled some large and complex furniture, but there was no way this could go together in 30 minutes unless you skipped some of the instructions. I took regular breaks, checking the leaflet, getting the correct pieces together - I don't see any point in rushing - but it took me almost 2 hours. It took almost an hour to fix the middle shelf correctly and I am sure the original designers could have thought up a better method - in fact, at this point I would say two persons would be necessary. The final part, attaching the top of the table, was just as problematic since you have to rely on each leg being the exact angle to enable to dowels to line up. Again, a second pair of hands would have been useful. Final point, the holes for the dowels could have been just a shade larger since they do not push in easily. The reviewer who said they put this together in 5 minutes, well, I very much doubt that review.As I said, a lovely table, well worth the money and well worth 5 stars. I have knocked off a star because both the seller's description and the included instructions are way off when they say this can be accurately and safely put together in under 30 minutes. Future customers - don't let this put you off, this is a nice piece of furniture, you just need quite a bit of patience and another pair of hands would certainly help for some parts. In spite of my comments, I will still definitely recommend this product and if I had the need, I would certainly buy another one.

Let’s be clear - this is made of high density fibreboard with a picture of wood printed on it. They call it ‘oak effect’, but it’s miles off the real oak I have, but it matches my yellow pine bookcase, which is just what I wanted, so great for me. It’s well made, and looks great when assembled, but inaccuracies in the pre-drilled holes for the twist-lock components that locks the top in place gave us an hour’s frustration. This 50cms wide x 50cms high table is a big more square looking than the taller, slimmer-looking table they used for the photo, but it’s basically the same unless you’re very picky. (See photo). All in all good looks at a good price.
