Very nicely made product, seems decent quality. The manual is very basic and you need to rely on the companion app which is not a problem. The companion app is very good. Takes you through every step and if you hit a roadblock the troubleshooting is amazing. I've never come across a device with troubleshooting as good as this. I am very impressed especially for the price.I bought it for my partner's phone (Honor 90 Lite) which absolutely refused to work with Android Auto via a wired connection. It now works fine with this little box. My only complaint is it doesn't seem to switch off when the car is off, it keep blinking and searching for the phone so we do unplug the box manually each time we get out the car but it's really not an issue.Excellent bit of kit, designed well, developed well, good quality and good value. Music works, Google maps works and WhatsApp notifications work. Zero issues.UPDATEDoesn't play nice with Honor 5G, seems to slow down and crash. Turning 5G off fixes it. Not sure if it's specifically an Honor issue or an issue with this device.

I purchased the AA 1.0 after reading overwhelmingly positive reviews. It was also unclear at the time whether AA 2.0 would be available in the UK. The set up is painless via the App that also helps with any troubleshooting issues. There are also a number of helpful You Tube tutorials. I have not noticed any difference between wired & wireless AA performance and the device connects seamlessly allowing me to store my phone anywhere in the car or on the charging pad. The hiccup? If you are wearing headphones, hearing aids or any other device connected via Bluetooth the AA cannot establish an initial connection. The app will guide you around this but something to remember - and a minor annoyance - every time you enter the vehicle.

Thousands and thousands of posts about it.In one final desperate attempt we picked up one of these, paired it to the car and phones and it worked.Let me put that in stronger words... it just works... it always just works. It is amazing.The newer version has a button that can be used to flip between phones which is handy when you share a car. It remembers the last person and when there is a decision to be made it uses that for the choice. If you are alone it will just pair to you. (You can use the app to override this when needed)Why did I pay much more for this than one of the other cheaper versions?A few reasons. The reviews were strong with lots of real world success stories for this specific product.You never know exactly what is inside a cheaper Chinese product and a review for something that looks the same often lets you down as cost cutting measures kick in.This is high street quality premium product not a cheap import. It also has a professional modern companion phone app that receives updates.If I was to buy again I would get the newer version unless this was on sale.I would absolutely recommend the AAWireless - Wireless Android Auto Dongle without hesitation.You spent good money on your car just pick this premium device for a seamless experience. You will after all be using it daily.
