K&F Concept 82mm ND4-64 (2-6 Stops) ND Lens Filter Variable & CPL Polarizers Filter 2-in-1, 28 Multi-Coated Polarizing and Neutral Density for Camera Lens (Nano-X Series)

Dieser Filter hat mir noch in meinem Sortiment gefehlt.Ein Variabler ND Filter besteht im Grunde aus zwei Polfiltern die gegeneinander verdreht werden. Ein Normaler VND Filter hat dadurch den Nachteil das durch den Polfilter Effekt negative Effekte in Fotos oder Videos zu sehen sind.Dieser VND/Polfilter lässt dich aber nach dem Einstellen des ND Wertes verdrehen, um die Stärke des Polfilters zu justieren und das ist ebenso simple wie Genial.Ich nutze diesen Filter um damit Aufnahmen von Autos zu erstellen, und ich bin echt begeistert.Die Qualität ist K&F Typisch sehr gut. Ein X-Pattern so wie es bei sehr preiswerten VND Filtern oft vorkommt konnte ich nicht feststellen. Die Markierungen der ND Stopps sind präzise angebracht.Die Beschichtung des Filters hilft sehr gut bei der Reinigung des Filters und beugt Lensflares vor.Alles in allem bin ich mit dem Filter sehr zufrieden, und kann ihn wärmstens empfehlen.

Been using this for months now on video shoots and for stills as well. Took a bit of getting used to knowing when you’re manipulating the polarizer vs ND but you get used to it. The orange tabs move the ND and the thick outer ring or for polarizer.Seems well built. I suggest buying for your biggest lens and then buy step up rings so you can use it your other lenses.

I own four of this “older” version of VND & CPL from K&F. I really liked the idea to cut one more stop with this “new” version . But I find that most of the time is is unusable if push near the limit - at the strongest density. I noticed a big shift in color on the corner affected by the polarization.(Maybe it’s not clear, but it kinda looks like strong vignetting or the X we see on certain cheap VND)I think it is more apparent on wide angle lenses.I still think this is a no-brainer for the cost, but usability wise, I would stick to the version one (V1)

Been using this for awhile now on jobs. Works exactly how it should. Downside is that the ring is pretty stiff to adjust and will need to use two hands which can be anoying
