This is a well made fire ladder. I took some trailer d ring anchors, painted them the same color as the bedroom walls, then used timber lock screws to anchor them into the header over the window. These escape ladders come with a bag that is now neatly tucked under the bed in each room. Once summer hits we are going to try them out. Good product

Well Made. Heavy Duty. Not sure a small child could deploy it without help. Did not attach the spacers to keep it away from the wall, although they're a great idea. Feel stupid, didn't notice it has rings at the top to attach to a railing. I need one that attaches to the lip of my window casing. Returned, but not for any defects, only mine.

It is hard to assemble and does not come with the stand offs on. I had to order the hooks to go over the window. Was another $45.
