Scent is greatGreat value- worth it if it helps stop the use of plastic bags that don’t dissolve with time

Too narrow for kitty litter cleanup
These bags are too little to use when you are scooping kitty litter. My scoop isn't narrow enough to pour the dirty litter and pee or poop clumps into the bag. I haven't even seen a littler scooper that is narrow enough for these bags, so I wouldn't recommend them for kitty litter cleanup. However, I do use them with my dog. The only bad part is, he is huge and has huge poops. Due to the narrow opening on these bags I do sometimes have to use more than one bag to clean up one poop. They are very thin due to what they are made of, but no thinner than other bags made with corn starch, in my opinion. The scent is very weak, so I don't really feel like it helps mask the smell of the poop all that well. I do like the handles because it makes it easier to tie the bag after you pick up the poop. But you do have to be careful when you rip the bags off of the roll, or your handles will tear. I haven't had any issues with leakage (thankfully!) either. I think they would be great for cleaning up after a small dog, but due to my dogs size I won't be ordering these again.

Just ok!
The bags don’t dispense easily from the box.It also does not seal the smell smell. It does hold a good amount of waste. Ties easily. For the price I could probably not order again.

The bag seals well. Comes with a dispenser. 180 bags.
These are better than what I expected. For some reason, I thought this was going to be a box stuffed with poo bags. Instead there are rolls in the box along with a dispenser. What this is:Opening the box up, I was happy to see that there are rolls (and rolls) of poo bags. On the side there is a poo bag dispenser. There are 180 poo bags. 10 bags on each roll. 18 rolls. These are compostable!!! This is a huge plus for me. I did not check these for how long it takes to compost. These are t shirt style poo bags. Making them easy to close.Taking one out, these bags feel different than other bags. They are lighter. They have a scent to them. According to the product page, it is an ocean breeze scent. To me, it smells like they are lightly deodorized. It isn't a heavy scent.I find my hand fits fine in these. These feel like they are narrower than other bags I have used. The t shirt handles- I feel like to close the bag by using these handles, some unpleasant odors will escape. I still prefer to twist and close further down the bag and just use the handles to carry. These bags seal very well! This I am very impressed. (I seal by twisting lower down the bag and not using the handles) They are strong. I don't have to worry about my hand getting dirty. The dispenser is functional. I do prefer my dispenser I already own. This dispenser is held together by a rubber seal that I remove to add more bags. It holds it together now. Repeated use, I wonder if it will stretch. The dispenser can easily attach to my dog leash.I debated between 4 and 5 stars. In the end, I chose 5 stars.

Too small
These bags are not as large as the photo makes it look. We have to use two bags every day and the scooper doesn't fit well going into the bag, so it gets messy.

We received a total of (18) rolls, and there is (10) bags, with handles, per roll. The big bonus is the plastic dispenser, which holds a roll. It’s easy to pull a bag for use. The dispenser, which has a (1”) rubber lanyard, is 2” x 3½” x 1¼,” so can easily fit in-hand or bag or purse or pocket. The rolls of bags are housed within a near 6” x 5” x 2½” rectangular cardboard package that is easy to open, allowing for easy dispensing of the bags. The bags are dark green color, similar to other compostable bags, which seems to be an industry standard. The rolls and dispenser weighs in at one (1) pound and six (6) ounces.PerformanceThese bags are silky smooth and advertised as being a compostable trash bag. We pushed in about two (2) pounds of organic waste inside, expecting no bag failure, since they are advertised being capable of holding over (4) pounds, the bag survived, not even stretching, and no rips or tears. We stepped-up our testing to several notches higher, and we then violently shook this bag, guessing all that wet messy trash would be too much and would cause a tear, no tear. A word of caution, when we intentionally stuck a box top, with a sharp edge, a tear did develop. But just to that area. No points deducted for that intentional act. All in all, this writer was very happy with this selection. The shelf-life was not noted, on the box, but it was noted in the listing as being five (5) years and that the bags would decompose within two (2) years, but these usually have a best buy date of a year from manufacture. So this five (5) year claim is big. The only problem is that this did not have a manufacture date noted, which is uncommon for these types of bags, because they do break down. In fact, from our experience, they start as soon as trash is in them, and that heat of decomposition starts to take place. As we find these bags start sweating fast. Not sure what this is exactly made of, other than plant based (corn). The smell and texture of these bags is more unique than other competitors, but this also had a feint aroma of soap – the manfacturer’s listing suggested an ocean breeze (whether real or imagined), unique, but not offensive. There are no other added fancy freshness scent as other bags on the market have. There is a reference to the thickness of these bags, (20) microns, which is 0.787402 mils, that information is appreciated, because in the scheme of things, that’s on the thick side. With the idea these are 100% compostable, capable of completely and naturally decomposing – the box noted within (90) days, that makes these bags a very attractive alternative, although there is a price to pay for being helpful to the environment. What do you have to lose? Other than stinky trash. The bags do what they are intended to do and are very helpful to us. They represent comparable value, and we think these are a good choice for their unique size, which I would suspect is near a gallon.Bottom-lineI like the bags, they are easy to remove, do not take-up much room, they are durable, they are competitively priced, are compostable, they are thick, do not rip, nor tear, and they are the right size. I like the handles too. These are five (5) stars, but the failure to disclose information, such as use by date, date of manufacture, make this a weak (5) star. These bags break down fast, as the contents placed inside (food/diaper waste etc., start “fermenting.” The last thing I want is a bag to break down so quickly, that trash will falls out, because the bag is way past its use by date. Other manufacturers list their manufacturing and expiration dates, but these, I do not see such. I like that they are strong, durable, and thick. Plus, I really appreciate the handles, which are about 4” long, allowing the bags to be securely tied.We would select these agin.I hope my thoughts were informative.
