Fabulous
I bought several of these for work, but it seems I'm the only person to actually use them correctly. What's the point if the dial isn't turned to the correct setting? May be it's a personality thing. I automatically turn to the correct setting, it's natural to me. The adhesion is great. The magnets are not so strong. The sign stays on the door but has to be held with one hand while turning the dial with the other, or else it will move around. That's the only drawback. Love it. In the beginning someone jokingly turned the dial which was annoying and childish, but that soon stopped. The quality is excellent. It does not look cheap at all. Very professional appearance.

A huge hit at the office
I bought this item for work, because my desk was hidden behind my office door. Even when the door was cracked, nobody knew if I was in the office. But this sign has totally eliminated that problem. Just stick it to the wall outside your door, keep it updated when you enter/leave the room, and problem solved. Its magnets make changing the sign easy, as each part of the sign snaps into place smoothly. It has also provided some unexpected amusement for my coworkers, who like to stop and spin the sign when they pass my office. Slight issue with the adhesive failing after a few weeks, but I don't consider that a problem. My office building isn't always kept at a moderate temperature, the walls outside my office are old and not smooth, and everyone plays with the sign constantly. Under normal circumstances, I expect that the adhesive would work perfectly. And if it fails, a single 3M Command strip is enough to remedy the problem.

Easy to use, clean look
I'd but this again. Bought 12 for office doors. 2 have fallen off within days but stuck the 2nd time. Otherwise, they are very easy and smooth to use and work with. Looks good too.

The product is great in theor - people reading signs aren't.
Bought these signs that say "Out of Office", "In a Meeting", "Please Knock" and "Do Not Disturb". I really thought it would be a polite way of saying "tell me you are tired of being interrupted without telling me" situation. After half a week, it's created a slew of new and increased disturbances: 1. "Please Knock" - Even if someone doesn't need me for anything, many folks are just walking around knocking on my cubicle like a 5-year-old would on the aquariums at the pet store. 2. "Do Not Disturb" - considering changing this one to "email first unless you're just looking for a negative experience today." 3. "In a Meeting" - Interrupts, asks "Are you in a meeting?" 🙄 4. "Out of Office" - Mainly for my cubical mates who are OOO more than I am or in meetings away from their desk. Totally backfiring, cubicle mates are listing OOO, people look, then proceed to still ask if out of office. 😑 2/10 do not recommend only because people suck.

Cute But Adhesive Doesn't Hold
I stuck this to my office door at home, which is obviously a flat, smooth surface. Unfortunately, the sign fell off within a couple of hours. The adhesive that comes with it simply isn't strong enough to hold it up. I tried putting it back on and it falls off within a few hours at most. Cute idea, but I don't like how I now have to come up with a way for it to actually stay put.

It does what is should
I wish it would have a title called Available or come on in instead of Please Knock. I feel like the Please knock and Do not disturb are basically the same thing. I also have to use 3 washers to get the magnets to work since the one sticky pad did not hold it to my door. I would have given 5 stars in all areas, but the adhesion was poor and it fell off 3 times until I reinforced it
