Rimmel London Scandaleyes Shadow Stick, 9 Blamed Blue, .25 g

Update Nov 2024: this wonderful shadow stick is used up. As I was searching to replace this item I noticed that it is now being pointed out online that this stick CAN be sharpened when used up. In other words, I used a sharpener, and hopefully I will get many more months use out of it. Stupidly it didn’t even occur to me that an old fashioned sharpener is all I needed !! I love this shadow stick, using it almost exclusively. The colour, bluffing, is perfect for my complexion and green eyes. Great buy, value for money

These eye shadow sticks are really handy for my morning makeup routine when I'm in a rush. They go on really easily and are nice and creamy for blending with your finger when you're in a rush or on the go. They seem to stay on pretty well throughout the day, even longer if you use an eyeshadow primer. I've used one right the way down to the bottom and it lasted quite a long time. The only downside is that the edges at the pencil end get a bit sharp once you've worn down the shadow part, so you always need to have a sharpener on hand to avoid scratching your eyelid - but this is true of all pencil based makeup. Unfortunately this colour was a bit cool for me (it would have been nice to see more colour swatches before buying), but I like the other colours in the range. I'll watch some youtube reviews before ordering online again to check the colours.

I absolutely love this eyeshadow stick. I bought it originally when I was visiting America, and when I got back I couldn't find it in any of the UK stores, I'm glad Amazon sells it! It's really soft and I love the the nude-light-brown-shimmery colour, it matches perfectly with my skin meaning I can wear it for work and it doesn't look too "bright" or over the top. It also blends well with other eyeshadows and surprisingly lasts all throughout the day (by the time you came back home from work or whatever it'll still be there the way you put it in morning, no smudges or wearing off) till you remove it. Super happy with the eyeshadow stick and delivery was fast too. What more could you want :)

Beautiful colour

Good quality and easy to use, better than eyeshadow.

Lovely vibrant colour but unfortunately it arrived broken. It did sharpen, but you’ll need a dual sharpener that has two pencil sizes, as this is quite a ‘fat’ pencil. It goes on smoothly, blends well and cleans off easily with a standard eye cream/face wipe. The packaging wasn’t enough to protect the pencil and the end had come off in transit causing the first part of the pencil to snap off.

I have hooded eyes, so as my hooded sisters out there know, my eyelids can get very oily. Yesterday, in a rush, I forgot to put primer on my lids. It was disgustingly hot out, and I actually cried twice. Somehow, this eyeshadow stayed on ALL DAY without budging or smudging. All that, and it still comes off very easily at the end of the day with a dab of moisturizer. The pencil itself is very pigmented, and it's very easy to dab a bit of color in the corner of your lid and spread it across with a finger or a Q-tip. Amazing! I will never buy any other eyeshadow. I have Blackmail and Gossip Green, and they blend together beautifully. Sometime I have to post a picture.

Très joli gris finement irisé. Je ne l’ai pas encore testé sur mes paupières mais essayé sur la main. La couleur semble tenir et l’application est facile . Même si la mine est plus épaisse que celle d’un crayon, le tracé semble précis. Très bien.

Highly pigment easy to use and soft to touch. Wont drag on eye. I am just not sure if it is hypoallergenic. Good product overall!

Der Stift wurde im Blog bei TrinnyLondon empfohlen. Er hält dass was er verspricht. Nicht vergessen mit einem weichen Pinsel auf dem Augenlied verwischen!
