Good Value, Great Look
Another reviewer here that was skeptical of this product with lack of purchases but figured it would be the exact same thing as 4Runner lifestyle product but with free shipping and returns, so worth the risk. Its ABS black matte plastic, there was another review that made it sound like they use a silver plastic but not sure what he was talking about… I spent about 3 hours researching best way to swap out the ugly silver valences for black and this was the best option imo. Can you buy an automotive paint and resin and give the existing silver valence a facelift in color, yes of course and save some money doing it too. But READ the follow-up comments on these DIY paint job videos. The video content creators follow up inquirers with “it’s held up ok” and “it’s starting to chip and crack” after 2 years, thus revealing the silver underneath and requiring a recurring paint job. And don’t even bother with plastidip, that stuff can come off if you run the car through a car wash! I’ve used it in the past and it looks good at first but definitely not a long term solution. Could you vinyl wrap for a longer option and also an affordable option like paint; sure. But you’ll spend 2-4 hours doing it and the contours of the valence are not easy to get perfect. Couple guys that I watched online wasn’t their first wrap job and they said it wasn’t perfect with the results but good enough. This is the front of your vehicle and the first thing people are going to see, don’t eff it up trying to wrap it, not worth the time and effort. That leaves this as the best option in my mind, if a rock or sand chips at it, it’s ok, it’s an off-roading vehicle and adds to the aesthetic; but I won’t have to worry about that darn silver color rearing its ugly head as a result. It’s a TIGHT FIT into the designated holes of the front bumper. If you can’t get one particular lock clip in, do the others you CAN get and it should help draw it closer for you to get that last stubborn one. Still need to do the back one and got to take the whole back bumper off to do so. Front one took my 45 min to install. Don’t bother with the Toyota Black Valence they sell, it’s gloss, you don’t want gloss look and at $300+ at that. They also have 2 indentations on the outside of the stock ones for the license plate if your state requires it. This product does not, which is perfect for me!

Happy with this kit
Pretty happy with these valances. Got the kit front and back for my '24. I have a SR5 so these are an add on - not replacement. I watched a few YT videos and was fairly easy project if you're handy. Did the front one day and the rear the next. Probably 2 hours overall to do the front and 3 hours for the back. The YT video that was the most helpful was by Yota Expedition. Just search Yota and valance add on 5th Gen 4Runner or something to that effect. Bumpers are a little tricky to remove but not too difficult. Drilled the pre-marked holes (on SR5). See pics. Happy over all with the product and results.

Perfect Replacement
Great replacement for my Silver Valance, and I prefer the Matte Black instead. Fit was perfect and sems to be of quality material.

Quality, but pulls away in small spots.
Upgraded valances on my 2022 4Runner Off Road Premium (5th Gen) PITA to install, but not the fault of the product. They generally fit well, but the back valance has a gap dead center, even with all the clips. Not huge, and not something I think others will notice, but being the one that installed it, I certainly see it. Front valance has the same issue, but on the curved side edges. Full honesty, I am missing a clip, but in the middle, not the sides. Even fully pressed in, they dont meet the bumper properly. I would say they are too curved. I dont know if they were missformed or maybe sanded too aggressively. That said you really have to be upclose to notice, so it works great for me. A note about install - all the tabs need to hook in simultaneously, then shift down, particularly on the front valance. Start your install by getting the bottom row in, then the top, then shift it all into place. I put the tops in, shifted it into place and it looked great. I was half way through reinstalling the clips when I noticed the bottom part wasnt in the hole. No amount of squeezing or pushing would make them realign to insert. The quality felt good, and I shifted them around a lot to try and make them work, but no dice. I basically had to do the install twice to remedy it. With all the bending I did, I would say quality and durability is high, on par woth OEM, and these arrived perfectly bubble wrapped. I didnt notice any cosmetic blemishes or other imperfections.

Great fit and finish.
These fit great and look great on a 2018 ORP. Took a kit 90mins to I stall both (I clouding removing the rear bumper completely). But with confidence.

Good fit and looks
Pain in the butt to remove front one. I ended up cutting original one with shears and just ripping it off as I have plenty of spare clips back one is easier to remove even though it looks complicated it is not . Fit is good and I used plastic paint just for my own preference but painting is not necessary. Find s clip assortment for Toyota on amazon because you never know if the clips will break. These are white ones about inch long

Don’t buy. Clips do not align.
Don’t buy. This does not fit my 2022 TRD Off road. The clips do not align with the holes in the bumper. The OEM bumper is easy to put back. It aligns with the holes. You get what you pay for and this is cheap stuff

Works & looks awesome but needed a fix
This bumper valance looks great and is a much better option then the stock silver piece. The high flying brand was a cheaper option then some of the other brands out there, plus you can't go wrong with the free shipping. Initially I had the problem a similar buyer had with the center valance not mounting flush to the bumper, leaving a gap. The center clip piece on the black valance is not stiff enough to stay angled properly to grasp the bumper, causing the gap. I was able to reposition it to grasp but it would pop back off with slight pressure. I was able to fix this by running some zip ties through it. All the clip mounting points seem to be softer plastic then the OEM valance. It was packaged very will with a piece of wood for protection. Overall, I am very happy with it. Had it on for a few months now and no problems after install. Still mounted flush to bumper. For install, I would recommend applying painters tape to the metal body panels to prevent the bumper from damaging your paint. While the bumper is off, it is also a good time to apply some fluid film to the frame to prevent rust.
