Arrived ahead of predicted time, I am actually very impressed by this wooden top, the underside had a couple of minor scratches but turned the wood over and showing side is perfect, no imperfections at all. The edges are nicely rounded off and it has a smooth feel to all of it. I love the rich redddish brown colour of the wood and found this very good value for money.

So my laptop died (they never seem to last) and I wanted a surface to pop a monitor on and an old school ATX box for chatting in bed with my favourite digital assistant. This is the perfect size. The finish is actually really nice, although, like many reviewers point out, there's always a flaw - these are like factory seconds. However, my imperfection was a 4cmx3-4mm divot where the coating either didn't take very well or was damaged. I think if they make clear these are seconds, they'd do a bit better TBH. If I was making furniture I'd not be happy, but since it's essentially a bed table, it's actually much nicer and a better size for all the gubbins I like, like a portable monitor and some nicer speakers. Overall it's nice - the actual finish, if you ignore the imperfection, is lovely. You could get the unvarnished one and do it yourself to get it a bit more even, but that's effort, right?

Very good quality and value for money

I don’t do a lot of reviews on here because most stuff is just what you expect and I’d only either do a review for something really not up to scratch or something great. Thankfully, this product falls into the latter. A lovely piece of oak wood which will make a great base for my air fryer/microwave in our small kitchen.

Recieved a presumably used, completely trashed table top wrapped up in a new box.Now have to return it with the only option to do requiring me to carry the large table top to the nearest Evri return depot which is a 20 min walk away. Not impressed.

This is decent quality for the price. I've used it as a topper for a 4 cube kallax unit. If the edges were straight instead of rounded it would have been a perfect fit. Because they're rounded I just needed to pull it slightly forward on the cabinet. Friends have been very impressed. It's tonnes cheaper than the ones you buy purpose built did kallax. There was one slight scratch on one side so that was fine to cover up.
