Imperial Tool TC1000 Hi-Duty Tube Cutter for 1/8" to 1 1/8" O.D. Tubing

I mostly use this for 1/4 inch and 6 mm OD stainless steel tubing. It does a great job and the blade lasts a long time.

Imperial classic . Great tool

I was in the HVAC business for over 40 years and have always used imperial products. After I got out of the business, I bought this and the smaller 312-FC model for occasional home use. I had this for less than a year and it had very little use when it broke at the top where the front roller is pressed into the frame. I tried multiple times to get in touch with the warranty department and left numerous voicemails that never got returned. Very disappointed with this product and the company for not returning my calls. I now shy away from purchasing any Imperial products.

Imperial tubing cutters are smooth cutting , they spin in small increments so they do not bind up like other brands

Ok, this is a very high quality tubing cutter, but if used for stainless it will need to be fairly thin walled. I used it to cut stainless tubing that had pretty thick wall and the wheel got destroyed like the pictures in the other negative review. It made it quite a ways through before failing though.

I used this to cut 1” OD x .120” wall steel DOM tubing and it worked flawlessly. The first cut was initially a little slow-going but once I started adding a little oil to the cut it got much faster and easier. I made four cuts and no problem at all. Very nice cutter for the price.

Works fantastic! Only used it to cut EMT so far. Knob operation is so smooth that you can spin it all the way open with the flick of the wrist. Very handy feature. Another quality Imperial tool added to my arsenal.

I bought this cutter to replace an old Imperial Eastman cutter that somehow "wandered away." Imperial cutters never disappoint - - highest quality materials, a breeze to use, and a super-sharp cutting wheel that tracks arrow straight and is easily replaceable. Ever use a cutter where the groove you're cutting doesn't match up, like a helical screw thread? Then it's not an Imperial. I own several of them in various sizes, and wouldn't buy any other brand.

I found the Model Number: TC1000 more practical and useful .The Hi-Duty Tube Cutter as better design the other with hardened steel reamer with turned cutting edge removes inside burrs cleanly and filing surface removes outside burrs also.The hard material use to build this Hi-Duty Tube Cutter Model Number: TC1000 .I found only one best word for product and Supplier :"AWESOME"
