Greatest Hits

I'm a massive Kylie fan, but even I think there are far too many greatest hits compilations out there for the great lady. None, however, before this one, have included 'If You Were With Me Now', which is one of my favourite Kylie tracks. I was very surprised it was missed off 'Ultimat Kylie' - I would have replaced the mediocre 'Celebration@ with the no 4 ballad any day.There's a remix CD included here too - nothing startlingly new as Kylie has already also had several remix CDs out already.But the singles CD contains all her brilliant Stock, Aitken, Waterman hits, including 'Shocked', 'Better The Devil You Know', 'Step Back In Time' and 'What Do I Have To Do' - surely the heyday of Kylie's pre''Can't Get You Out Of MY Head' career. If you want a slice of perfect pop, this is it!The only thing I find negative about this album is the horribly tacky, sexist photo on the cover. It's not Kylie and I wish whoever it is would put their trousers back on.

The only bad thing about this album is the tacky non-Kylie front cover. Lord knows what they were thinking. It's definitely worth hunting down the replacement 'Vintage Kylie' inlay issued by Team Minogue. All that aside, the original Kylie Greatest hits is an outstanding summary of Kylie's time at PWL. Deservedly a number one album in the UK and featuring one of my favourite vintage Kylie singles 'What Kind Of Fool'. All the hits are here unlike later best of albums. Considering how cheap this cd is there is no excuse for leaving it on the shelf! This is also the only place you can find the Latin-pop themed 'Where in the world' which is an early example of Kylie's song writing skills. Miss Minogue's finest ever B-side 'Say the word, I'll Be There' can now be found on this re-released version of this album along with a brilliant must-have bonus disc of rarities!

This purchase was so welcome as I had tried to obtain this CD on the high street but to no avail. Oddly, I did come across a copy in a shop after ordering it from here but it was much dearer than on this site. The CD was delivered in a very timely fashion - I would definitely recommend this site for ordering such music.

This album is not a let down and as a fan of Kylie Minogue I should know.If only the album had been brought out in later years, then it would have contained "Can't get you out of my head". With all of Kylie's earlier work on the double CD album. The first CD is the studio recordings and the second is mainly remixes.

this album has all her initial hits i remember from the 80s as a teenager. With the versions that will take you back. CD2 is vamped up versions of some of her hits which i would give a miss. Overall a good buy if that is what you are looking to buy.
