It sits above my neck! That is not ok at all. It is like a thin foam material and it’s ugly. Do not buy. I bought this for a ninja turtle costume, I’ll be looking like a diy project when I wear it. I hope you don’t buy this.

The straps are not sized well for a kids body size. I had to staple them in more to get them to stay on.

The quality of the shells is what you’d expect from the price. They’re a little delicate for kids dress up, but for an adult costume, these are perfect for the price
