It would really depend on how you are using the band and what you strength level is. If you are pressing over 315 lbs with no resistance I think you could be well suited with the extra heavy. Anything less, you would likely do better with the heavy.

Would this be the right size for adding resistance to push ups? I see different bands come in different lengths.

This band is heavy resistance and will make a push up very challenging. We would recommend the light or medium resistance band.

Siempre tuve algo de "miedo" al entrenar con bandas elásticas, no me daban sensación de seguridad. Pero he de decir que la calidad percibida de este producto es muy buena y transmite confianza, uno puede centrarse en el ejercicio sin tener la mosca detras de la oreja de si se ba a romper la banda. La resistencia de la misma la mediria como media-alta, como para hacer ejercicios de brazos con esfuerzo o como asistencia media en dominadas. De todas formas, llevo poco tiempo con ella como para ser una opinión definitiva, ya que cada tipo de goma "envejece" distinto. Un saludo
